Aquarius 29. An old poetess eating green melon in a shady garden. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Responsible

(Degree Angel: HAHAHEL (HA-ha-HEL) Self-Esteem, Mission)

TITLE:  PROFOUND COMMUNION WITH THE SUBTLETIES AND DELICACIES OF FEEING

The old poetess is the wise woman who through the magic of her poems expresses the mysteries of the universe. In the gentle, protected sanctuary of the shaded garden she renews her inspiration through taking into her being the ripeness and fullness of nature. This degree is about attuning to the ancient feminine wisdom within and allowing it to find the intimate connection with the elemental kingdoms that nourish it. The melon (ruled by the Moon) feeds and sustains her in the process of expressing her mystical visions.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “The sound of water echoes through a great stone room.” Present here is an amplified sensitivity to the flow of emotion and the ability to perceive all the subtleties and complexities of feeling moving through both self and others. The stone room provides a sanctum which shuts out the outer world so that one’s listening to the voices of the water may become focused and acute.

In the Omega Symbol the color green, the shadows, and the melon are all soothing nourishing, and refreshing elements, as is the sound of the water in the Chandra Symbol. In both symbols sensitivity is amplified so that we may appreciate the many beautiful subtleties of our world and be enriched and refreshed by them.

Pleiadian Symbol: A luna moth struggling out of a cocoon. Emergence from limited and confining contexts. Pushing against one’s own limits to find what is beyond. One’s instincts create an inner disturbance that impels one toward change.

Azoth Symbol: A man perceiving the iridescent shimmerings of countless possible lifetimes open to him. The awareness of many potential opportunities. Knowledge that the path forward is never irrevocable or single, that many possibilities and alternatives are open to one.

Seed degree: Pisces 17.Getting on his hands and knees, a man uses a piece of white chalk to draw a circle around himself. (Omega Symbol). Drawing a circle of protection around ourselves we are then able to find rest and calm in the shady garden.

A kangaroo and her baby who looks out from the mother’s pouch. (Chandra Symbol). Learning to take care of nurture and protect whatever we create becomes a basis for the cultivation of our intuitive sensitivity.

Fulfillment degree: Leo 28. A diamond thought to be fake turns out to be real. (Omega Symbol). Giving in to and accepting our vulnerability leads us to a realization of the adamantine strength of our spirit.

Men doing gymnastics. (Chandra Symbol). Accepting and exploring our sensitivity becomes the basis for the development of power, health, and strength in the physical world.

Oracle

The Ancient poetess Gabara Suterb, who, at the time of this writing is 495 years old is famous, not only for her incomparable poetry, but for the blessings which she sometimes confers on melon gardens.

From the gardens blessed by her come melons of immense size which are made into a wine that is said to confer visions and dreams of exceeding beauty on the drinker.

And even though the lady Gabara is the author of many poems which are as laden with magic as her melons are with nectar, she says that these melons are her finest poetry, for out of their silence are born poems within the imbiber, poems having put off the clothing of all words.
