TITLE: SUDDEN CONFRONTATION THAT RELEASES STUCK ENERGY AND ALLOWS A REATTUNING TO THE HEART
So much is always bubbling up within us, but our karma, our structure, keeps it down. The fantasies of the past and the future remove us from the present. This degree, though, is good at returning back to the present with a jolt and finding there the energy that is waiting to come forth, which then works like flowing water – to wear away resistance to the force of evolution.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Loud crushing noises as a glacier moves.” Evolution is the strongest force n the universe, and when met with resistance can be slowed down, but never stopped. This degree is highly sensitive to forward movement, and can feel it happen, even if only very minutely in even the most stuck and entrenched situations. It is an encourager of movement, and supports all that is evolutionary, doing this, often, in the most subtle and hidden of ways. For those in hopeless situations in often unwittingly plays the role of a hidden angel.
Pleiadian Symbol: A stream gurgling through a recently burned forest. Gentle buoyancy in the midst of all harsh or seemingly hopeless realities. The great length of time it takes the forest to grow back mirrors the slowness of the glacier’s movement in the Chandra Symbol. In either case the life force continues its forward movement inevitably.
Azoth Symbol: An astrologer helping an alchemist to harmoniously time his operations. Alignment of all one’s working with higher realities. Knowing in a profound way the right time to act and to create. The careful planning characteristic of this degree contrasts with the immediacy and spontaneity of the Omega Symbol. Ultimately the astrologer and alchemist must perform their work by attuning to the movements of their own inspiration, even though they attempt to align their actions with cosmic cycles. What was spontaneous in the Omega symbol becomes controlled and conscious in this symbol. The goal is to find a harmonious synthesis of spontaneity and planning.
Seed degree: Scorpio 17. Empty rooms with perfect walls and floors. (Omega Symbol). Clearing out all we no longer need allows the spontaneous birth of joy.
The mountain abode of a hermit. (Chandra Symbol). Achieving inner, psychological peace we are then able to withstand the intense, opposing forces of the world.
Fulfillment degree: Libra 27. A painting that will not dry. (Omega Symbol). Contacting cosmic joy, we realize that everything is far more open to change than we formerly realized.
A black leopard beneath a full moon. (Chandra Symbol). Internal pressures emerge as intense desires.
Oracle
The jokes of Harem Nazar were not funny — nobody thought they were. Nazar never wrote them down, and no one ever remembered them. In researching this curious joking Alchemist the sage Irnad found that many of the people who heard them became subject later to inexplicable fits of laughter which they said seemed to come from nowhere. Irnad theorized that Nazar’s jokes spoke to the subconscious self, who takes awhile to get jokes. Nazar’s jokes, like fine wine needed time to ferment in the hidden self, and then when the time was right the laughter would unaccountably burst forth, like a cactus flowering suddenly, in the desert.
