Sagittarius 22. A flamenco dancer. As he stamps his purple boots, small clouds of dust are raised. (Omega Symbol) Interacting/Sensitive

(Degree Angel: ARIEL (AH-ree-EL) Absolute Certainty, Perceiver and Revealer)

TITLE:  PASSIONATE CATHARSIS, or SPONTANEOUS DISPERSAL OF DARKNESS

A passionate and insistent self-expression is found here. This degree has the ability to stir up energy and to bring transformation to situations by provoking others to see them in a new way. It helps others to get back in touch with what they’re really feeling, and to go ahead and express themselves. Affirming once again the ground of our being, self-assurance is renewed and we’re ready to move forward.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Blackbirds flying out of a pie.” Live birds were never meant to be eaten. There are dark energies we were never meant to take in. In this degree, suddenly and surprisingly they release, and in a way that is harmless, even humorous and delightful. In the original nursery rhyme there were four and twenty of them, twenty-four being the number of the soul’s complete journey. And so this is not just a partial release of what Eckard Tolle calls the “pain body,” but gradually and eventually a complete release of it. This degree is Kabbalistically ruled by the Moon, and Sagittarius is the sign of transcendence, hence the subconscious (Moon) eventually transcending its repressed contents.

Pleiadian Symbol: Screens on which movies have been shown are being washed.

Azoth Symbol: Pointing to the sky, a shaman wills it to clear.

Seed degree: Sagittarius 21. Deep in the jungle travelers discover the ruins of an ancient city. (Omega Symbol). When we deeply re-connect with the past we are impelled to recreate its energy passionately, and in a new form.

Toads singing at night. (Chandra Symbol). Spontaneously calling out to others of our own kind releases the pent-up forces of our subconscious.

Fulfillment degree: Capricorn 22. Sugar falling slowly through a giant hourglass. (Omega Symbol). The intensity of our expression allows us to savor the passing of time and the sweetness of every moment.

A bare altar covered with black velvet. (Chandra Symbol). Clearing of the energies of the subconscious that need release creates a deep receptivity that invites clear connection with spirit.

Oracle

The flamenco dancer Framano Orar is known by all as a supreme genius of his art.  A special dance which Orar invented, and which others have attempted but failed to perform is called “The Perfume Dance.”

When performing this most mystical of rites he always wears the purple boots in which he performs all his dances.  Prior to the performance women come out onto the stage and strew the floor with the dust of incense, herbal powders and dirt from far off places whose location is kept secret.

As Orar dances his stamping feet raise great clouds of dust which billow out into the audience, but rather than causing any degree of coughing, congestion or discomfort the clouds are find to carry the most wonderful and indescribable of scents.  As Orar’s dancing becomes more and more passionate the clouds become more and more dense, the variety of scents emanating from the stage being of a tremendous and continually changing variety.

Spectators who have been lucky enough to witness this dance report that for weeks after their clothing will be imbued with the most wonderful of fragrances, and that it seems as if inhaling the dancing of Orar has been like the partaking of a drug that saturates them with an exaltation and ecstasy which only slowly fades away.
