Degree Angel: JELIEL (Jay-lee-EL) Recapturing the Sparks, Love and Wisdom, Transforming/Experimental

TITLE:   THE PRESERVATION OF DEEP AND MEANINGFUL ALLEGIANCES

Omega Symbol: In a bookstore, a chance meeting of long-lost friends.

You seek meaningful connections and you find them. If you follow whatever direction in which you are pulled you will encounter people and situations that enhance and fulfill you. You sense that knowledge is everywhere and that the universe is generous in sharing it. All that is needed to partake of this is a positive and open attitude.

Pleiadian Symbol: Turned in the hand a quartz crystal glimmers with rainbows.

Openness, clarity and receptivity allow one to realize the many potentials inherent in all life and the beautiful possibilities latent everywhere.  You have the ability to subtly confuse other people, to kind of distract them from their problems and focus, or, one might say, to create a host of fine cracks in their world through which new energy, light and information can seep.

Chandra Symbol: A fire burns at the bottom of an old well.

We go deep inside ourselves to get in touch with the most primal emotions and there we find a creative fire that can enliven and enrich. Bookstores have a rather hidden and introverted quality, but in this contained and private environment we find people of like mind, there searching as we are, and realize they are our long-lost friends, fellow travelers along the road of evolution. It is like finding that wonderful warming fire in the place we felt we were least likely to discover it.

This degree goes deeply into anything it explores or encounters, and therein discovers lost sparks of its own spiritual self.

Azoth Symbol: A man marks off a territory for himself.

Extending oneself into life in a clear and defined manner which fosters a clarity of relationship with everything.  When we affirm where we want to be and what space we occupy it encourages others to do the same, and can tremendously promote the possibility of relationship.

Seed Degree: Aquarius – 5

Gradually the wind unearths a temple buried in the sand. (Omega Symbol). Re-contacting our spiritual source we find we have opened up to all sorts of unexpected connections.

Humans worshiping an obese nature Goddess. (Chandra Symbol). Keeping our attention attuned to the abundance of nature keeps alive the fire that burns deep in darkness.

Fulfillment Degree: Taurus – 13

A fruit that smells terrible but tastes wonderful. (Omega Symbol). Re-connecting with that which holds meaning for our soul helps us to have the power to push through difficult situations to attain fulfillment.

A treatise on imaginary creatures. (Chandra symbol). Bringing the fires of creativity deep into the limitations of the physical realm we are able to invent new forms.

Omega Oracle

Upstairs, in a back room where tomes filled walls and lay stacked and unsorted everywhere, he had gone in search of obscure authors, the rare and forgotten who might be in need of his appreciation, maybe someone he might have overlooked, even in the midst of all his patient literary searching.

As he glanced up from a first edition of “Death’s Jestbook” by Thomas Lovell Beddoes which was open in his hand, he noticed a man he hadn’t previously seen sitting across the room on the floor, who, feeling his gaze, turned to look back at him. So long it had been, and both had aged, their faces each layered with its own accumulated history. Saying nothing, (for there were already enough words in the room) they only smiled, their gazes laying against each other, touching like two books, the essence of whose stories were seeping into each other’s pages.
