Pisces 8. Through a microscope, a scientist observes a deadly virus. (Omega Symbol) interacting/receptive

(Degree Angel: DANIEL (DA-nee-EL) Enough is Never Enough, Clarity of Communication)

TITLE:  FEELING DEEPLY INTO THE DARKEST DEPTHS OF THE SOUL

This degree knows that when we can really see negativity clearly, see into the inner workings of our own illusions, we are on the road to clearing them. It is willing to have and intimate contact with all kinds of discord, and through going into the deepest subtlest layers of the structure of these things moves progressively toward a complete healing of them.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A gypsy peasant woman sings a mournful chant.” To give voice to all the sorrow and suffering of our soul is to begin the process of releasing it. This degree feels there is energy trapped in the self which needs to come out, energy of a toxic sort which can be alleviated through expressing it. It is because we do not deeply and completely embrace our pain that it stays with us. On the other hand, if we embrace it without letting go of it, we will continue to retain it. The magic is in the full embrace, the full realization of the nature of our feeling that finally allows us to accept it and relax out of it. And as we allow ourselves to empathize with others expressing their pain, ours can be released simultaneously with theirs. Knowing that others deeply and intuitively understand what we are feeling is a way of healing unto itself.

Pleiadian Symbol: A monk blowing a conch shell. Resonating with cosmic forces as a means of evoking their energy in the present. Reminding oneself and others of the spiritual nature of our being, but doing so in a subliminal and emotional way rather than through the intellect or objectively.

Azoth Symbol: Materials and workers assembled, a pause before beginning the great task. Allowing in the harmonizing forces of the universe by tuning in to the eternal silence. This degree has an inscrutable and mysterious presence that can cause others to become more focused and release negative karmic energies, such as the deadly virus of the Omega Symbol. It is the eternal silence that is evoked after the monk of the Pleiadian symbol has blown his conch shell and the Gypsy woman of the Chandra Symbol has sung her mournful chant.

Seed degree: Cancer 6. On a dull, overcast day, a pool reflects a clear, blue sky. (Omega Symbol). Just as the pool sees the blue sky beyond the clouds, the scientist comes to see the spiritual purpose behind the deadly virus.

The Medusa’s head with writhing snakes for hair. (Chandra Symbol). When we come to deal with what we couldn’t formerly look at, we are ready to engage in the process of release.

Fulfillment degree: Taurus 29. A man reaches out to touch a marble statue. He feels it smiling. (Omega Symbol). In an attempt to comprehend the various manifestations of pain and suffering, we realize more and more that the world we have created is there to actually lead us eventually into perfect bliss.

A man amuses himself by drawing strange shapes. (Chandra Symbol). Releasing the past and its sorrows impels us to create new sources of pleasure and delight.

Oracle

Irnad invented a microscope so that he might observe a powerful virus whose symptoms affected the mind of whoever it infected, bringing them nightmares.  These nightmares lacked consistency and varied from person to person, summoning from the imagination of the victim their greatest fears.

When Irnad first viewed the virus he saw it grow before his eyes, and as he peered into it he saw visions lurking in its depths, visions that mirrored his own deepest fears — though in his writings he never specifically described what these were.

It was through this discovery of the nature of the virus that he developed his famous methods of entering and restructuring the dreams of others — methods requiring great resourcefulness, for each patient required a different cure.

This is why Irnad, though he rarely left his round tower during the whole of his life was known as “Irnad the Far Traveler.”
