TITLE: VITALITY MANIFESTING SPONTANEOUSLY or EMBRACING IMMEDIATELY WHAT NATURE HAS TO OFFER
This degree has in its nature a fullness and completeness that invites everything into anything which it does. The result is a great blending of the energies of nature that manifests as a lushness of expression, and everything done and entered into with a feeling of great abundance of possibility and opportunity. It is a potent antidote against the belief in poverty and lack.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Mushrooms springing up everywhere.” In the right environment certain life forms find exactly what they need to grow. This degree knows that so many problems can be solved simply by seeking out the exact type of environment they need. This principle is a clear explanation of how so much negativity has come to be accumulated on planet earth – these negative forces have been carefully and systematically cultivated. And so positive, spiritual forces may be cultivated in the same way.
This degree often feels the urge to make changes or modifications in various aspects of its reality, and should follow these, rather than allowing too many questions to cause doubt and hesitancy. There is here an ability to read needs, even ones of the most subjective sort, needs of an outer, obvious nature as well as subtle, vibrational needs.
It tends to approach everything indirectly, being, in a sense, more concerned with the atmosphere around a thing rather than the thing itself. The results of this can be immensely fruitful.
Pleiadian Symbol: At land’s end a woman regretfully turns back. Sorrow as an inducement to correcting one’s course. The need here is to not attach to exptectations. The rapid proliferation of the Chandra Symbol’s potentials will not last long – something must be done soon – the mushrooms harvested, or allowed to rot.
Azoth Symbol: Wonderful paintings discovered in a junk store. Not just one painting, but several, or many, like the many types of wildflowers of the Omega Symbol, which are discovered in a field or meadow, a humble place, like the junk store. Here is an ability to look out for and find treasures in mundane and unexpected places.
Seed degree: Taurus 18. Gently a man caresses a thorn tree. (Omega Symbol). Honoring the needs and sensitivities of nature, we are then able to harmoniously draw on it to intensify our own joy.
A woman with hundreds of breasts. (Chandra Symbol). Realizing the tremendous nurturing capacity of nature brings forth in us a spontaneous creativity.
Fulfillment degree: Capricorn 28.A roomful of people busily cutting diamonds. (Omega Symbol). The ephemeral celebration involving the colors of the wildflowers reflects the diamonds’ eternal celebration of color. The work of play becomes the play of work.
A mirror covered with a fine film of dust. (Chandra Symbol). A cycle of proliferation must always be followed by a process of clearing and refreshing, to make ready for the next cycle. Fecundity increases the awareness of entropy.
Oracle
Every summer, during the Festival of the Sun the village people gathered every kind of flower to adorn their circle of stones. At this time Mirana, known as the Flower Girl, was allowed to wander deep into the woods to gather special flowers, strange ones which no one had ever seen, and which Mirana only found during the Festival of the Sun.
The farther she wandered into the forest the darker it became until the only light by which she might see were curious bright shadows that were not cast by the Sun but seemed instead to glow up from the earth. It was here, in these darker woodlands where no one ever came that she discovered the foreign blooms taking shapes of no known flowers, hued in colors that even poets could not describe.
She gathered these — they were everywhere — bringing at least one of every kind she could find and returning brought them back to the circle of stones where they were displayed with the other flowers that people knew.
These unknown flowers were never given names, for they were said to be sacred, and not to be limited by words. Like other flowers they wilted and died soon after picking, but every year Mirana found them again, and the villagers were deeply affected by their profound beauty and scent.
The wise tell us that the imperfections that we find everywhere in the world around us are little cracks — doorways into other realms. And imperfections, though they might seem strange or ugly to the eye desiring the expected, are actually new and unknown manifestations of beauty — like Mirana’s flowers.
