The famous diarist Tanasia Ralaam is thought of as one of the great

never went anywhere outside her own abode her days were filled with
fantasies of all the things things she might do, all the people she

Its inspirations are elusive – quickly coming and going. The challenge here is to accept this fragile, passing quality and go with that, to faithfully move with the energy when it’s there, and to not try to capture or contain it in the sense of limiting it or regulating its ephemeral nature.

Confusing it well may be, but to see confusion as negative is a value judgement of the rational mind. We might call this degree “The glories of confusion,” and find that out of confusion truths of the most fantastic shapes and sizes are continually being born.

He spoke, morning and evening, for several hours each day, telling what he knew, imagining questions coming from non-existent students, and then answering them, the questions often leading off into other topics and other realms of knowledge. He know not the bounds or limits of his knowing, for as he spoke he learned more, the knowledge rising to the surface like water from a bottomless spring.

Centuries later the room where that happened became a place where students came to sit, bookless, their eyes closed, absorbing the reverberations which still could be felt faintly echoing from the walls, and which awakened in them other, hidden springs.

This fosters a sense of connectedness and encourages the mutual release of pent-up energies. There’s an ability to both guide and to be guided and this give and take generates an intimacy that dissolves the illusion of the self’s limits.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Three women materializing out of a fog.” The woman are the goddesses of the past, present, and the future, they are also the weavers of the great and endless tapestry of fate. They come out of nowhere and everywhere. The ego self finds these three women terrifying, for their fatalistic pronouncements are not to be disobeyed. But the spiritual self knows them as teachers of the highest order. Dreams are one of their most potent teaching tools.

And while they work it may seem that not much is going on in the outer world, for their workings proceed deep within, to heal the root of karma. This is an irrational and mystic degree. among the people, dancers from other centuries, both ones in the past
and future, asked to join the troop, so that their dance became spread
not over just thousands of miles of space, but many hundreds of years of
time as well.
