(143) Omega/Chandra Symbols: Scorpio 26 – 30

(143) Omega/Chandra Symbols: Scorpio 26 – 30 150 150 John Sandbach

Phase 48. Unity (Mem Yud Hay)

Angel: Mihael (MIH-a-EL) Fertility, Fruitfulness

Scorpio 26. A witch dressed in black. Her clothes are turning white. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Experimental

(Degree Angel: PAHALIAH (pa-HA-lee-YAH) Victory Over Addictions, Redemption)

This degree can completely immerse itself in whatever it is doing, but never allows itself to get stuck in one way of looking at life or one way of being. It’s willing to try anything and everything, but rather than doing this randomly there is a complete immersion in something before moving on. In this way it comes to a deep understanding through having experienced the polarities at work in anything.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A she-wolf. Her udders full of milk.” This symbol might allude to the she-wolf that suckled Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome. If you are denied nurturing from your parents, you may always seek it from nature in a wilder, purer form. The she-wolf has food to give, and it may be given to her cubs, or to other creatures in need of it. This degree may signify situations of giving and receiving that are unusual, unexpected, experimental, and potentially fruitful for both the giver and the receiver. The black clothes of the witch of the Omega Symbol are heavy, for black is a heavy color. But her clothes are turning white, becoming lighter, just as when the she-wolf gives her milk she too will become lighter.

The witch is moving from a yin, or passive state, into a yang, or active state. Her black absorbs all the colors, but when she has completely turned white it will reflect all the colors. This degree is heavy with food to give, heavy with what it has absorbed, and needs to emanate what it is full of, to give what it has, without letting worries about who gets it or what they do with it or what they think about it to stop the giving.

Pleiadian Symbol: At night the fires of wanderers dot the planes.

Azoth Symbol: An old ruler decides to turn his kingdom over to his daughter.

Seed degree: Aquarius 8. A man experiences much pain and discomfort as wings sprout on his back. (Omega Symbol). Overcoming the tremendous drag of habits and their intimate connection to limiting beliefs we gradually and inevitably lighten our burden, taking every step at the exact moment we are ready to.

A book, the words in it keep changing. (Chandra Symbol). To go back and continually rethink things can be a profoundly enriching experience that fills us with new energies and gleanings that we feel a need to give to others as a form of nurturing.

Fulfillment degree: Scorpio 20. A man who carries large sacks of books with him wherever his goes. (Omega Symbol). When we ourselves become light nothing else that is truly of value ever seems like a burden.

A serpent wrapped around an immense egg. (Chandra Symbol) Feeling a deep need to nurture others guides us toward an understanding of the mysterious and forever self-renewing fountain of life, and the spontaneous, instantaneous wisdom it offer to those ready to receive it.

Oracle

There is a witch who lives in the forests of Aab who keeps her name secret, and who is known for wearing shadows rather than clothes. To stabilze these shadows so that they may be depended on as protection from the elements she has devised a way of spinning them into an exceedingly fine, dark thread and then weaving them into a cloth that, though nothing could be more thin and insubstantial is utterly opaque and of an engulfing blackness.

And though she is rarely seen and quite secretive, those who report the occasional sighting of her say that as these garments of hers have worn threadbare over the centuries they have become more and more stained with glows and other various and diverse lights that have built up into such brightness that she has chosen to live in a cave to conceal her effulgence from passing travellers and those who may wander through the forest.

Scorpio 27. At a country fair, some people are clothed, others are nude, all wear flowers. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Sensitive

(Degree Angel: NELCHAEL (NEL-ka-EL) Eradicate Plague, Ardent Desire to Learn)

Love and joy and a deep connection with nature are of this degree. It has the ability to bring primitive elements back into society, elements that are warming and emoting and very enriching. It accepts life as it is and people as they are and is looking to create a celebrational communion wherein all people can be themselves with no sense of threat or feeling that they need to conform.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Three blue robin eggs.” In Kabbalah, three is the number of Jupiter, the planet of growth, enthusiasm, and generosity. Blue is the color of Sagittarius, the sign of transcendence, and of perceiving the wholeness of life. These three robin eggs signify a vision of the wholeness and completeness of life, expressed purely and simply. All difficulties, all obstructions and frustrations are seen through, or brushed aside by this vision of the completeness of life.

This degree accepts what is hidden (the bodies of the clothed people in the Omega symbol), as well as what is revealed (the nude people), the flowers they wear are their loves and joys, and this is what unites them.

It seems that this degree cannot be negative, at worst it might only lie unused within one’s being. But even at that, like the robin eggs, it will inevitably hatch – and its birth can antidote much negativity.

Pleiadian Symbol: A troup of strange dreams enters the sleeping city.

Azoth Symbol: A piercing noise startles someone out of a reverie.

Seed degree: Aquarius 20. Wind carving sand patterns in the desert. (Omega Symbol). Letting communicating happen naturally and spontaneously we are able to relate to others with whatever level of formality, distance, or intimacy that feels required in the moment.

A fine silk thread strung across a chasm. (Chandra Symbol). Tuning in to a fine, subtle, and intuitive level of communication we find ourselves able to impart a sense of new life, hope, and transcendence to others.

Fulfillment degree: Sagittarius 20. A clear yellow gem fallen from heaven. (Omega Symbol). To relate to others in an atmosphere of openness and joy that leaves behind all fear induces us to spontaneously see the beautiful and eternal purposefulness of the universe.

The changing of water into wine. (Chandra Symbol). Simple hope and an innocent and effortless connection to life becomes a path to the healing of emotions and the creation of miracles.

Oracle

The Flower Festival is celebrated every year in Aristar, a small village north of Peth, for it is in this region at the time of the first New Moon after the beginning of spring that flowers from all times of the year bloom for a short while in immense profusion. It is said that this is the work of Flora, queen of the flower spirits, who induces this blooming so that celebrants may have flowers to wear during the Festival’s three days of revelling. It is she also who is responsible for the flowers losing none of their freshness during this time, for the blooms worn by the participants neither wilt nor fade in the slightest until the Festival’s end.

It is traditional for some of the revellers to wears clothes and others to go naked, depending on their desires, for the festival is an affirmation of the beauty of both the hidden and the revealled.

Scorpio 28. A man who speaks only in meter and rhyme. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Receptive

(Degree Angel: YEIAYEL (YAY-ah-YEL) Stop Fetal Attraction, Fame, Renown)

This degree turns everything into poetry. Nothing is average or prosaic unless it is made or seen that way. This degree has a way of lifting any and all experience to a higher level by finding the beauty in it. This is often done unconsciously, but even if the person is not aware of it, the effect is still transporting, and revealing of the cosmic aspect of all phenomena

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A building: the only part of it left is the cornerstone.” Everything passes away eventually, even something as seemingly durable as a building. The cornerstone marks the place it was – it preserves the memory of that structure. Our imagination may rebuild that building, and/or we may actually rebuild it in physical reality, or build a structure that is different but in some way like it, or which bears some of the essence of the the older, defunct form. The heaviness and endurance of the cornerstone seems so different from the man who speaks only in meter and rhyme, yet so much poetry grows out of older forms that are not much read anymore, and poetry tends to condense language, just as the cornerstone is a condensation of the energy that was the building.

This degree has a gift for essentialization and for what we might call “reconceptualization,” that is, the ability to rethink and rebuild things, and all for the purpose of allowing the soul to take on a new vehicle of expression.

Realize, too, that the man of the Omega Symbol is not carefully writing and revising his poetry, but is expressing himself directly and spontaneously in poetic form, that is, thinking on his feet.

Pleiadian Symbol: A man sleeping in a forest wakes to the distant fanfare of fairy trumpets.

Azoth Symbol: A man learning how a vast library is organized.

Seed degree: Pisces 2. From deep in the earth the sound of a waterfall. (Omega Symbol). From the depths of feeling arises a rhythm that flows out as the soul’s music given voice to.

A man turning into a werewolf. (Chandra Symbol). Merging with our instinctive, animal self, we are able to align our being with that which is most basic and essential.

Fulfillment degree: Capricorn 20. A host of angels in conference. (Omega Symbol). To allow all of our communication to be suffused with beauty attunes us to the synthesizing and harmonizing forces of the universe.

Many different perfumes carried by a breeze. (Chandra Symbol). When we are able to return to the basic impulses that have given rise to all the constructs of our life, we clear our consciousness in such a way that we are able to perceive the play of subtleties all around us.

Oracle

“The Far Islands” is an epic poem of 30,000 lines written, or recited, rather, by the Poet Elorious. Knowing that he would create this work – but not where or when — he spent ten years in preparation for its emergence by speaking only in meter and rhyme.

And then, on April 18th of the year 3641 he attended a feast at King Eran the VI’s palace and was asked to entertain in the evening. Spontaneously he began telling the story of Aandar and the Far Islands, which was continued far into the night, and then over the next few evenings as well, a scribe renowned for his swiftness at recording words in a shorthand of his own invention writing each line down as it was spoken.

If not for this amazingly adept scribe, whose name was never recorded by the historians, Elorious’ magnificent poem would have never come down to us.

Scorpio 29. Through a doorway, nothing but empty, blue sky in all directions. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Responsible

(Degree Angel: MELAHEL (MAY-la-HEL) Sharing the Flame, Healing Capacity)

This degree opens doorways to greater freedom and expanded realities. It has a deep awareness of all limitations and a sense of the way out of them, and even if the step through a door into a greater reality cannot be taken at a particular time, at least there can be a looking through that door – a seeing into what is beyond so it may be appreciated and possibly entered into later. We might call this degree “The Freeing Power of Death.”

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “ An umbilical cord.” when there is an intensity and fullness of connection there can be intimate and profound giving and receiving. Umbilical cords were made to be severed, leading to the complete freedom within the universe that is signified by the “blue sky in all directions.”

The severing of the umbilical cord can be a joyous release, or it can be terrifying and alienating, just as the blue sky can feel wonderfully open and free, or cold and empty. Its all about whether or not we’re projecting love or fear onto the situation.

Pleiadian Symbol: After an earthquake priceless artifacts are being carried away from a museum.

Azoth Symbol: Messages hidden in all the measurements of an ancient city.

Seed degree: Pisces 14 Unconcerned with how he is going to escape, a man explores an infinite library. (Omega Symbol). If we give in completely to our curiosities and obsessions we find that eventually they play themselves out and leave us free.

After a feast, much uneaten foods remains on the plates. (Chandra Symbol). When we are truly aware of the abundance of the universe, we grow beyond any current forms of dependence.

Fulfillment degree: Aquarius 20. Wind carving sand patterns in the desert. (Omega Symbol). When we realize the freedom and openness in which we dwell, we are able to be relaxed and gentle in our communication and searching.

A fine silk thread strung across a chasm. (Chandra Symbol). When we realize that we will be able, ultimately, to overcome all dependencies we open to the perception of all the subtleties of connections we may make that have the power to span any and all gulfs.

Oracle

(From the book “Strange Entrances,” by Ethelric the Dubious): “A hidden doorway was discovered by accident in the study of a certain deceased Alchemist whose relatives have requested that his name remain anonymous. When this doorway was opened there was found to be nothing beyond it but blue, cloudless sky to be seen in all directions. The sky was competely devoid of features – no Sun, Moon or passing birds marred its perfection, and even when night came the sky beyond the door remained the same blue.

“A certain bold investigator actually stepped through the door and found himself freed of gravity as he floated in space. When he turned back he saw the door and the room he had come from, but with no other supportive edifice surrounding it. Swimming through blue to see what was behind the door he found nothing but more blue. When he returned to the door and stepped back into the study he glowed with a faint blue radiance which lasted for several hours.

“News of the room spread fast and excited crowds came to see it, and can attest to its reality, though it faded in just three days, as if it had been nothing more than a flower, leaving behind it a wall of stone.”

Scorpio 30. Former reflections appearing on a mirror. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Inspired

(Degree Angel: HAHEUIAH (ha-HOO-ee-YAH) Overcoming Jealousy, Protection)

we have seen or experienced persists in an eternal realm – since the past is still happening, still accessible, and because there is no end to parallel universes, everything is capable of being changed. This is a degree of pure creativity that draws on any and all sources as material for what it creates. It is extremely perceptive and receptive and whatever it takes in it continually reconfigures into new patterns from which new experiences and understandings can be drawn.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A very dark sky, but no rain.” Usually water is below earth, due to gravity. Here it hovers above earth. Will the rain fall on us, or will it move on and fall on someone else? If this rain does not fall, later, another rain will. And when the clouds blot out to a degree the brightness of the Sun, which signifies the conscious mind, we are able to feel what we feel more clearly, for the rational function is not so much present to equivocate, justify, or explain. This is an ominous symbol, but what it is an omen of may be something wonderful, for rains cause seeds to open up and plants to grow. Like all of the last degrees of each sign this degree is highly complicated and multileveled. It feels many energies at work, and can guess what is to come, but never knows for sure. It knows that nothing is ever completely what it seems, and may even be completely what it doesn’t seem. When it quits second-guessing situations, and fully learns that its feelings of foreboding are solely its own projections, then it can enter fully into the exciting instability and creativity of the moment, and flow inspirationally with whatever happens.

Pleiadian Symbol: A man in a death’s head mask sitting quietly in a dark tree.

Azoth Symbol: An alchemist carefully weighing the ingredients of a formula then casually throwing in other ones.

Seed degree: Pisces 26. A writer endlessly revising his work. (Omega Symbol). To go over and over something can distort seeking what exists in the here and how. On the other hand, refining and perfecting whatever we are doing can help us to learn from the past and to see how it has contributed to the growth of our consciousness.

The aurora borealis. (Chandra Symbol). To have seen the wonders of the spiritual heights frees us from any fears of what may seem ominous or threatening in the moment.

Fulfillment degree: Pisces 20. A truck stop specializing in gnostic texts. (Omega Symbol). Stored knowledge and memories, when needing to be healed will find a way to break into our field of consciousness in ways that often go beyond taken-for-granted notions of what should be, and will interrupt our current tasks and focus with new, profound and unexpected insights.

A perfect black cube sits alone in the desert. (Chandra symbol). A complete surrender to the processes of change and transformation will make us deeply aware of our limitations and self-imposed isolation, which can be, ultimately, a good thing if we allow this realization to reconnect us with the light.

Oracle

The mirror was found among the effects of a certain old duchess of Aab when she died. At first it seemed like a normal mirror, but the one who bought it came to realize, after experimenting with it, that the mirror was shy, but that once it came to know and like certain individuals, its owner being one of them, it would show its former reflections – faces that had once looked into it, for instance, or what seemed to be the passing scenery along roads on which the mirror had travelled during its owner’s journeys.

And as the mirror got to know her better and grew more fond of her it seemed also to delight in making her appear young and beautiful, even as she grew into old age, and enjoyed as well adorning the faces of those it detested with warts, wrinkles, horny protuberances, and a host of other uncomely distortions.
