As you engage in this process you come to see more and more clearly that everything is magic
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A divorced husband and wife enjoying each other’s company.” This degree is about appreciating others for who they are without placing any expectations on the relationship. When there are differences of opinion, you either learn from them, or you find other areas through which which to relate. Novice practitioners were always concerned with drawing the forms correctly and pronouncing the incantations properly, but he knew the paths of magic were numberless, that the forces of nature were like the colors of a palette that could be blended and combined in endless ways to create new landscapes, new visions.
The gnomes, undines, sylphs and salamanders loved him for he understood their need to create. Together they made forests out of poetry and fountains out of song, and secretly gave dreams away to those who had misplaced their own. The sound of their play turned into light (so as to traverse the interstellar vacuum) and echoed through the universe.
Leo 2. On the surface of water, flecks of dust floating. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Sensitive
(Degree Angel: Daniel (DA-nee-EL) Enough is Never Enough, Eloquence)
It is best if you keep yourself continually fluid, as a means of coping with the heaviness of life. Dust signifies the remnants of the past, the water is your emotional being. The dust needs to sink, so that the water can carry it away. But the past floats on the water, resisting absorption – it is poised, waiting, yearning to persist, fearing absorbtion and transformation. If you allow the dust to sink it will feel like death to you, but it is what you need – to allow the remnants of your old identity to be washed away, continually, as you shed them.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A horn of brass to be used as a hearing aid.” You have acute hearing, the question is, what are you listening to? Is it the promptings of your higher self, or are you only selectively hearing those things that will support your fears and neuroses, and your rigidly held beliefs about yourself? Your careful listening can channel in tremendous wisdom – it all depends on the direction in which you point your horn.

A woman with flames for hair. (Chandra Symbol). Listening deeply to spirit our mind is ignited and burns with the fire of creativity.
Both water and air love the dust, water because it can turn it into mud – much loved of flowers – and air because it can help the dust to fly like microscopic angels. As mud, dust flows together into one great shadow, as dust floating in air each microscopic angel casts its own miniscule shadow, the collective dust shadows softening the sun’s harshness, especially in autumn, when they reduce the fierce yellow to a tender gold.
But for now the dust motes float on water, not quite angels and not quite mud. Sometimes it is such a pleasure to exist in the middle.
Leo 3. Walking down the street, a man passes his double. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Receptive
(Degree Angel: Hahasiah (he-HA-see-Yah) No Guilt, Universal Medicine
You’re pulled in may directions. If you jump around from one thing to another too much you may be entertained for awhile, and will maybe elude temporarily what your deep inner self knows it has to do. You need to keep asking yourself, “why am I focusing on this?” You goal is to rein in your curiosity and continually come back to what is important.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A rickshaw.” Loving to run here, run there. It can be a means of connecting and synthesizing all into increasing patterns of harmony and progress – if you allow your intuition to guide you where to go next, or it can be just a lot of scrambling around in a desperate effort to avoid those things you really need to look at, and those places ou really need to go.

Walking down the street I saw myself ignoring myself. The other me glanced at me quickly and hurried away, fearing, probably, that I’d ask him some too personal question that would make him uncomfortable, or criticize his clothing, which would have been strange, since it was identical to my own.
I might stalk myself, and finding out where I live, wait until I might catch myself coming or going. I wish he wouldn’t fear me so – I only want to ask if he remembers me from the past.
Leo 4. A forest of mirrors used to collect the sun’s energy. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Responsible
(Degree Angel: Imamiah (ee-MA-mee-Yah) Passion, Expiation of Errors)
You play the role of a servant, dedicated to the highest and finest vibration that you can possibly manifest. You need to not expect too much of yourself, though, or push yourself too hard. You can bring light to many people, but if you become obsessive or overly intense about what you’re doing, it can have the opposite effect you wish to have.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A gardener collecting cow manure.” The gardener has an end in view – the proliferation of beauty through the growing of flowers and the proliferation of health through the growing of vegetables. Just as these things feed our body and soul, we must feed their physical form. This degree does the dirty work, and seeks our rich nutrition to promote luxurious abundance. Here is nurturing at a deep and grounded level.
Azoth Symbol: Ritual and prayer before the construction of a great temple.

Fulfillment degree: Cancer 11. A hidden treasure waiting to be found. (Omega Symbol). The accumulation of energy becomes a resource waiting to be discovered and used.
Monstrosities in glass jars at a side show. (Chandra Symbol). Whatever we nurture proliferates, and even if it produces something that seems a failure, we come to realize that nature is always experimenting, and there is always something to learn from every outcome.
Impacting surfaces at 186,000 miles per second you would think one might hear light crashing into the mirrors as it immediately changes direction. But traditionally gleam and reflection have always been accompanied by silence. After long journeys the light enjoys rebounding to instantaneously begin yet another trip, so much darkness to explore and fill, so many shadows sight see.
Leo 5. Through narrow, winding streets, a man is following a mysterious woman. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Inspired
(Degree Angel: Nanael (NA-na-El) No Agenda, Spiritual Communication)
You have a burning desire to know what is at the core of things, to understand the hidden aspects of reality, which of course means the hidden aspects of yourself. This curiosity can lead you to many places – both within and without – and take you far afield from the familiar. You tend to be without plans – your only agenda being to go wherever you sense the ever-elusive truth is leading you.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A seemingly young man, but with gray hair.” Certain aspects of you are far more developed and wise than are others. One-sided development is not a bad thing – many people choose it, but eventually there’s a need for the undeveloped side to catch up. Of course there is also part of you that will never grow up, and this eternal youth and naivete is wonderful, and can serve and enhance the purposes of the wise old one within. What is important is that these two aspects of self grow more and more to love one another – to enhance the joy and wisdom they have to impart.
Pleiadian Symbol: Rocks which, by their shape, seem like people who look down from a great height.
Azoth Symbol: Seekers arrive at a holy city.
Seed degree: Taurus 23. Inside a tornado a spiral staircase. (Omega Symbol). Finding our center in the midst of the intensity and distraction of outer experience we are able to seek and eventually connect with our inner, intuitive self – the source of all wisdom.
A salamander glowing red-orange. (Chandra Symbol). Recognizing the wonder of our own individual uniqueness we realize that we hold within us an eternal wisdom that transcends time.
Fulfillment degree: Leo 11. A man using both hands is writing several stories simultaneously. (Omega Symbol). Our intuition is deep and immediate, not logical and step-by-step, so when we finally connect with her we open ourselves up to the wondrous potential of a type of multi-tasking that transcends the rational self.
A boy removing a thorn from his foot. (Chandra Symbol). When we allow our innocence and wisdom to merge with each other we find that our understanding is healed.
Dusk is falling, and even the shadows seem to be having a difficult time moving through the narrow streets. The woman pursued is always just barely in view in the distance as she turns a corner. He has no idea why he follows her, only, he wishes to see her face, to see if he knows who she is. She moves as if made of breeze, her dark garb evaporating into the evening’s growing darkness.
And as he follows her windings he realizes that maybe he wishes not to accost her, but only to trace behind her her steps, to absorb her movement through the streets, a pattern or symbol, which she draws with her feet, and which he reads with his own.
