Phase 23. Sharing the Flame (Mem Lamed Hey)

Angel: Melahel (MAY-la-HEL) Healing Capacity

Cancer 21. A man milking a poisonous snake of its venom so that he can make an antidote. (Omega Symbol) Interacting/Experimental

(Degree Angel: Rehael (RAY-ha-EL) Diamond in the Rough, Filial Submission)

Things that others are afraid to look at or to think about or approach are things that you can confront directly. You have a magnificent ability to put aside your fears and even your biases and judgments, so that you can look pain, suffering, and negativity in the face and come back from the experience with the healing force that the situation needs.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “High up on a mountain an eagle’s nest.” Both of these symbols are about protection. This degree has the ability to view life from a higher place, so that it may see the whole picture more clearly, and stay above the chaos, confusion, and negativity below. In most cases it has to function in the world, but even so will carry in its aura an insulation from discord. From its exalted perspective it can have clear insight into situations. And the Omega Symbol alludes to its ability to turn negative into positive and find benefit in places usually thought of as offering none whatsoever. It nurtures by uplifting, and by reminding others that there are places beyond the mundane that all of us can move toward.

Pleiadian Symbol: A woman lying on a stage as she sings and dies.

Azoth Symbol: A star sending a woman its healing radiance.

Seed degree: Sagittarius 4. A great teacher lecturing in an empty classroom. (Omega Symbol). To persistently keep sharing oneself even when it seems that no one wishes to receive what one has leads one to the revelation that no energy is ever truly wasted, and that everything has a deeper and often hidden purpose.

A young prince undresses to bathe in a pool. (Chandra Symbol). Letting down our defenses so that we may commune with the healing forces of nature elevates our consciousness into a place of safety and power.

Fulfillment degree: Gemini 10.Magic glasses which allow one to read a secret text. (Omega Symbol). When we understand the way solutions are always hidden within their corresponding problems, it gives us a kind of magic lense through which we can read the secrets of the universe.

A young woman notices the handsome man has fangs. (Chandra Symbol). Through gaining an expanded spiritual perspective on life our intuition is able to see the multifarious workings of ego and selfishness all around us.

Oracle

He holds the snake gently but firmly and presses the jaws to open them.
Death has kindly given the snake an elixir with which it may magically
fulfill the karmas of those who might threaten it, or transform those
who seemingly step on it by mistake, not knowing they needed to depart –
and, afraid to begin their journey stumble, surprised at their
transformation.

And now, the man having lovingly tapped the snake’s nectar, will make
from it another elixir, one to reverse or compound karma, one which can
offer the one bitten a moment to pause, and reconsider, at death’s portal.

Cancer 22. A man collecting shadows. He is putting them into a bag. (Omega Symbol)Interacting/Sensitive

(Degree Angel: Yeiazel (YAY-ah-ZEL) Speaking the Right Words, Divine Consolation and Comfort)

You have an instinct for cleaning up, and for knowing what it is that needs to be cleared to make way for a brighter future. You at times come to realize that certain endeavors and/or involvements are no longer serving you and so must to done away with to make way for more nourishing energies to come into your life.

The Chandra symbol for this degree is “Bunches of watercress growing by a cool spring.” A clean, clear, and refreshing quality is here – an ability to recognize the simplicity of needs and to know where and how they can be fulfilled. Life is often lived here on a small, modest level that is refreshing and fulfilling and cares not for the competitive, complicated and discordant aspects of society. Coming to this place we are fed and nurtured and allowed to detoxify and to see how beautiful health is. The shadows are put in a bag to clear the darkness, on one hand, and on the other, the shadows are a kind of magic calmative that relaxes and rejuvenates. The Fairy Kingdoms are most definitely in this degree, in a most modest and rustically beguiling form.

Pleiadian Symbol: Sensing that a boat is soon arrive, a woman journeys to the shore.

Azoth Symbol: A dead poet’s poems finally published.

Seed degree: Sagittarius 16. A magician’s wand sprouting golden leaves. (Omega Symbol). Renewing the strength and purpose of our will we are able to clear away the darkness that obstructs clear seeing.

A man shearing sheep. (Chandra Symbol). The more carefully and lovingly we take from nature what we need the more we find abundance offered to us.

Fulfillment degree: Cancer 10. An artist making shadowboxes in which he is placing collages and various small objects. (Omega Symbol). Focusing on the inner meanings of everything around us we begin to unite them imaginatively into meaningful patterns.

A violent hail storm. (Chandra Symbol). When we are able to relax and enjoy the natural life around us we are then able to release pent-up emotions in a complete manner.

Oracle

What will you do with all those shadows you stuff in that bag? Of course
you realize that you only capture those sleeping or carefree ones, so
many others flit away, slip through your fingers. I realize you are
trying to organize your life a little – tidy things up a bit, shed a
little light on things. You’ll find that carrying those shadows around
with you is quite easy – they weigh almost nothing.

And, now that you have a bag of scraps, you may find one day that you
need one to patch something, or even make yourself a whole new wardrobe
– yes, I know, it seems impossible, but remember, shadows are forever
growing. In time you’ll have enough to curtain the world.

Cancer 23. A man thanking all his books for the wisdom they have imparted to him.
(Omega Symbol) Interacting/Receptive

(Degree Angel: Hahahel (HA-ha-HEL) Self-Esteem, Mission)

Acknowledging help and appreciating it is a way of keeping the flow of help coming. Frustration is self-proliferating, which is the best reason to let go of it – what it produces is just more of itself. You instinctively know this, and are able to adopt an attitude of appreciation that magnetizes to you even more to appreciate.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A man putting together pieces of broken pottery.” To be grateful for knowledge will proliferate knowledge. Both of these degrees have to do with a collectivity, in the Omega Symbol it is the collective of the man’s books, in the Chandra Symbol it is the collective of broken pieces. Of course we might see all books as pieces of knowledge that is too vast to be contained in just one book. No matter how many books you read it is you who must put together the knowledge as a means of fashioning a vessel to contain wisdom. To break anything creates new opportunities for rearrangement and hence revitalization.

Pleiadian Symbol: Authors come together to read their works to each other.

Azoth Symbol: A couple in a temple sense the presence of the spirits of enlightened beings.

Seed degree: Sagittarius 28. A man channeling new music from deceased composers. (Omega Symbol). When we recognize how limitless knowledge and creativity are, we are impelled to give back love for the treasures we have received.

A witch’s ritual dagger. (Chandra Symbol). Cutting away all those negative and limiting thought forms which obstruct us we are ready to reintegrate ourselves and re-achieve wholeness.

Fulfillment degree: Leo 10. A man who sees stars invisible to others. (Omega Symbol). When we give love back to the source, we find the source supplies us with ever subtler perceptions.

A man putting olive oil all over his body. (Chandra Symbol). Carefully re-integrating whatever needs to be reintegrated, we find our whole being becoming more smooth and flowing.

Oracle

For him the contents of books were architecture through which he loved
to wander. This architecture, though, had no need to respect gravity, so
that a wall, for instance, might be built paper thin and stretch far
into the sky, fallen columns might hover above the ground, and
free-standing stairways carry him to nowhere other than a magnificent
vista where they suddenly stopped.
What he knew (and also knew that so many didn’t realize), was that all
this was wisdom, not the kind that is parceled out neatly in essays or
statements of fact, but wisdom all-pervading, like water, flowing
everywhere and creating, unexpectedly, as it went.

Thank you, he said.

Cancer 24. A man building a structure meant to look like the ruins of a temple. (Omega Symbol) Interacting/Responsible

(Degree Angel: Mikael (MI-ka-EL) Revealing the Concealed, Political Authority and Order)

You are acutely aware of the past, of what has been lost, and of the valuable wisdom that needs to be retrieved. You know that the past cannot be returned to, but that its glories and wonders need to be recreated and so they may re-emerge in the present. You are looking for ways to spiritually attune to these and to help them be reborn into the world.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A single crumbling Corinthian column.” What is an illusion in the Omega Symbol becomes a reality in the Chandra Symbol. We all seek the inner temple, and the aura of sublimity and mystery found in temple ruins evoke that knowing that the temple within ourselves awaits our return. We need, though, to beware of getting caught up in nostalgia and regret for past glories which have faded. The real and eternal temple that we seek may be ignored and neglected, but will never fall into ruin.

Pleiadian Symbol: A woman climbs a mountain to witness sunset.

Azoth Symbol: A man surprised by the reception of a precious gift.

Seed degree: Capricorn 10. Many strange and diverse objects are seen floating down a river. (Omega Symbol). From the great variety of different energies passing through our lives we are tuned in to those memories which will most serve our evolution.

A man drinking blood from the vein in a horse’s leg. (Chandra Symbol). Intensity of union with the forces of nature generates the tremendous energy it takes to uphold spiritual principals through any and all sorts of phases.

Fulfillment degree: Virgo 10. A baby fascinated by many differently colored vials of healing elixirs. (Omega Symbol). The fantasies we build to stimulate our imagination can lead us into an innocent state of inquisitiveness in which we can explore the possibilities of using a whole spectrum of vibrations for healing.

A pin cushion. (Chandra Symbol). We find the great, glorious fragment that has endured from the golden age, and it inspires us to set to the task of synthesizing, reuniting, and reworking our existence once again into a whole fabric.

Oracle

He tried to imagine what wind and rain and ransacking hordes might have
done to the fragments of wall he built. He planted his fallen and broken
columns with ivy, and sometimes would allow a single unbroken arch to
remain occasionally amongst the partial ones.
Certain orphaned ghosts of history, who roamed the earth, constantly
looking for a place to rest, eventually found his ruins and came there
to sleep. Until over time a sanctified aura arose in the temple’s
enigmatic precincts, and waxed increasingly potent as the years passed.
Eventually people forgot the clever, visionary architect, and wondered
about the mysterious place, speculating endlessly about the nature of
the strange and secret religion that must have been practiced there.

Cancer 25. An invisible man yearning to feel the sun on his skin. (Omega Symbol)Interacting/Inspired

(Degree Angel: Veuliah (vay-OO-lee-AH) Defying Gravity, Prosperity)

You yearn for a sense of purpose in life, and even if you feel you have one, it may sometimes feel unclear to you, or you might feel somehow not fully connected to it. You have the ability to act in unseen ways that can be very helpful to others. If you sometimes aren’t sure of why you’re doing what your doing, rest assured that your inner guidance will always take you to where you need to go.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A flock of penguins on an icy beach.” The penguins are denizens in a hostile world, but they have survival skills will-adapted to their environment. The man of the Omega Symbol, on the other hand is out of attunement with his world – unhappy with at least one aspect of his invisibility. There is here a yearning to be more real, to become visible, to connect with our spiritual purpose. We can do this, and when we do it, we find we are in harmony with the world around us,and also find ourselves with companions with whom we may share mutual support.

Pleiadian Symbol: An invisible entity trying to contact a man.

Azoth Symbol: In dreams a man visits fabled sites.

Seed degree: Capricorn 22. Sugar falling slowly through a giant hour glass. (Omega Symbol). Realizing the sweetness of each passing moment we develop a craving to be more vibrantly and fully in the world and to be a conscious part of its meaning and purpose.

A bare alter covered with black velvet. (Chandra Symbol). Being open and receptive to the messages and promptings of spirit helps one to find others who can support one through spiritually times of darkness.

Fulfillment degree: Libra 10. A ginseng root in the shape of a human being. (Omega Symbol). Coming more and more into the physical plane and contacting our core, we feel more and more wholly rooted and complete in the physical world.

A hand with perfectly manicured long nails. (Chandra Symbol). We find that connecting with others with whom we can share spiritual challenges and who will support us in times of difficulty strengthens our ability to reach out to life and to take hold of whatever will meet our needs.

Oracle

He walks in the groves, and looking down sees no shadow, or legs, for
light, failing to notice him, passes through him. Light, the great
acknowledger of surfaces is blind to his own surface. And being unable
to see himself he feels uncertain of his own edges, his own limits.

And then, unexpectedly, it comes to him: If he is to see himself, the
light must come from within, he must find his own internal sun, and find
his edges and surfaces from the inside out. And, sure of his way he
begins to see, there on the ground in front of him a faint shadow
beginning to take shape.
