Aquarius 6. Seeing a stone lion in a museum, a young girl asks her parents if they are at the zoo.

TITLE:  LETTING GO OF TAKEN-FOR-GRANTED ASSUMPTIONS TO ACCESS A FULLER, RICHER TRUTH

When Zeema, the famous zoological alchemist was a young girl her parents used to take her frequently to the Museum of Peth, one of her favorite places.  For when she viewed the paintings all manner of birds would fly into the painted space of the portraits and sit on the shoulders of the subjects, and exotic or sometimes unidentifiable reptiles would wander through the painted landscapes or rodents skitter across the painted rooms.  Even the sculptures would sprout curious pets who sat at the feet of the marble people.   And one time as Zeema and her parents stood before an ancient stone lion they could hear a deep purring that sent its vibrations through the whole room.

Alchemists to this day make extensive use of Zeema’s famous volume, “Secret Teachings of the Beasts,” a profound treatise on animal wisdom.
