The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Many glass animals on a shelf.” The animals signify all the various forces of nature, here clear and full of light. What seems to be simple and common is replete with wonder. This degree attunes to that truth, and lives it in a way that helps others to sense, to whatever degree they can, the magical and cosmic aspects of existence.
In the same way the sailor of the Omega Symbol enriches his environment by going far away from it to find new perceptions, new expressions of eternal truth, which he then brings back to open others to new ways of being. This degree is all about making connections that assist others in getting beyond their limitations and illusions.

A tentacled god, carved from black basalt, has come to New England. And now in the night elderly matrons have dreams of being mermaids cavorting with lusty mermen in ocean depths.
The effigy of stone has grown greener and brighter since his arrival, and it is no wonder, for he knows now that it was the Older Gods who drew him to this place. His presence is needed here, where he might infest the good people of New England with ocean darkness.
