Scorpio 17. Empty rooms with perfect walls and floors. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Sensitive
(Degree Angel: LAUVIAH (LO-vee-YAH) Banishying the Remnants of Evil, Victory)

TITLE:  THE ABILITY TO PROTECT ONESELF THROUGH CLARITY AND DEATCHMENT

When you create an empty space you make a place for something new to come in, and when you do this continuously you maintain a clear, clean place on which the mind can project its imaginings and thereby come to know itself. This degree has a gift for clearing out the past and for staying prepared for whatever is coming toward it out of the future.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “The mountain abode of a hermit.” There’s an ability here to operate at a remove, for obviously not everyone who has this degree goes off to live in the mountains, but all of them do, to some extent, create that abode around them so that they can do what they do without being so affected by the energies of others and the world of humans in general. It means that they bring a freshness to whatever they encounter, and help others to divest themselves of the mental and physical pollution with which they are always having to contend. How clear this mountain air seems to be, how refreshing, and how much its atmosphere seems to give us greater space and freedom in which to move, just as the empty rooms of the Omega Symbol do.

Pleiadian Symbol: A space alien infant given to a woman to be raised. The nurturing others with special needs that one has to intuit, or discover by careful observation.  A willingness to rise to even the most unusual of occasions, just as the hermit of the Chandra Symbol will refuse no one who comes to visit him.

Azoth Symbol: The king’s retinue on a secret journey. The safeguarding of all important courses which one pursues in one’s life.  The maintaining of deep inner secrets even when outwardly they are incapable of being concealed, just as the rooms of the Omega Symbol are obvious, and yet their purpose and nature remains a mystery.

Seed degree: Libra 20. In a lush, dark forest a unicorn prancing. (Omega Symbol). Finding purity and clarity deep in the inner richness of ourselves inspires us to make a larger clearer space for our self-expression in the outer world.

A man with a single horn coming out of his forehead. (Chandra Symbol). Becoming acutely attuned to the power of our own intuition assists us in removing ourselves from all confusing and disturbing energies so that we may commune with the creative intelligence of the universe.

Fulfillment degree: Aquarius 19. Suddenly a woman laughs, now knowing why. (Omega Symbol). Clearing our lives of that which is unnecessary or merely taking up room gives us a space in which to experience joy in its pure form.

Loud crushing noises as a glacier moves. (Chandra Symbol). Retreating from the conflicts of the world we are then freed so that we may experience our own inner conflicts and allow them to sponaneously unwind – even though this may take time and patience.

Oracle

Five white cubes have sat on the coast line of the Avradan Sea for centuries. Each one is a hollow cube in which exists a room with perfectly smooth walls and floors, and two large door-less doorways on walls opposite each other.

The cubes are in no patterned arrangement but seem randomly scattered along a half mile of shoreline. They are known to be at least 4000 years old, but show no signs of wear, and exhibit no cracking, pitting or marring of any kind on their surface either inside or outside. The walls are approximately nine inches thick and the rooms vary in dimension, the smallest one being about 10 feet square, the largest 15 feet square. They are referred to as The Rooms of Idaro, named after a small city several miles from them. Only one historian has ever claimed knowledge of their maker, but says he had sworn never to reveal it.

It has been noted that certain people throughout history have become obsessed with visiting these rooms and sleeping in them, claiming they receive something from them which is needed in the extreme, but which they cannot define or even describe.

The Alchemist Serapis says he believes they emit some form of therapeutic energy to everyone, but that only certain people are aware enough of what this is to be consciously attracted to it.

All I know is that when I visited them it was a profound pleasure to sit within, on a cloudy day, and observe for hours the gradually shifting shadows as I listened to the surf.
