Leo 7. The barking of a dog echoes across a moonlit landscape. (Omega Symbol) Interacting/Sensitive

(Degree Angel: Mebahiah (me-BA-hee-YAH) Thought Into Action, Intellectual Lucidity

TITLE:  SENSITIVITY TO THE QUALITIES OF ATMOSPHERE

The sharpness of a needle determines how easily it can penetrate skin, and by the same token your penetrating but subtle insights can penetrate the consciousness of those who experience them, and work on them in ways that were unexpected. Using this power for the good of others is your challenge.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A very weak cup of tea.” The barking of the dog permeates the landscape just as the tea does the water. The tea is very bland and subtle – to some it would seem like nothing reMarkable. To those who tune in to the faint flavor and fragrance there may be a wondrous experience to savor. The experience of this is cosmic and mysterious, and is felt by this degree to symbolize far more than it outwardly is. The energy of this is much like homeopathy, where, as a substance is reduced physically, its vibration is magnified.

The barking dog’s echoes in the Omega symbol are calling forth deep emotions, as signified by the Moon, and the feelings permeate the landscape, creating an atmosphere that evokes the sublime. And so this degree can be deceptively simple and bland, and yet evoke the grandeur of the infinite.

Pleiadian Symbol: A man’s astral body travels into the sky to see the stars more closely.  Extension of self into higher realities as a means of importing subtleties into the physical realm.

Azoth Symbol: A pattern used to generate energy.  Awareness of the power of forms and the vibrations which they infuse everything around them.

Seed degree: Gemini 17. Deep in a cave a large albino snake. (Omega Symbol). Feeling the pure power of wisdom within, our instincts feel an irresistible urge to voice it.

A magic coin that has only one side. (Chandra Symbol). Sensing the illusory nature of the phenomenal world we leave it behind us more and more and enter a realm of imaginative subtleties that more clearly express spiritual realities.

Fulfillment degree: Libra 11. In a Tibetan monastery hundreds of candles burning. (Omega Symbol). To feel the intensity of our emotional yearning and to allow ourselves to express it spontaneously leads us eventually to a desire to focus the spiritual light in the darkness around us and to do what we can to keep it burning.

Tea leaves that form a pentagram. (Chandra Symbol). Through experiencing the subtleties of the energies around us we come to recognize patterns of harmony inherent in them that weave them all together into a whole and living pattern.

Oracle

In the night he arose to look out the window at the frost-covered fields where the moon shone, the barking of a dog billowing through its own echoes like a wraith crossing into the reflection of a cloudy mirror.

And the barking, as it continued turned the whole night into a dog’s gigantic, hollow throat, through which cold billows of barking rolled, the moonlight, having just newly fallen to earth, surprised at what she found there, filling her with such noise.
