The quintile aspect (one fifth of a circle, or 72 degrees) signifies TALENT, and 5 in Kabbalah is the number of Aries. Quintles always carry an Aries energy in that they are fresh and new, never run-of-the-mill and usual. For instance, a friend of mine has a Mars/Pluto quintile, and what I see in her is an intensity of passion that is so very renewing and refreshing. Quintiles just bubble out of us! My own Mercury/Mars quintile signifies a verbal forcefulness and assertiveness that can surprise others. Yes, the quintile always surprises — even when we know the person who has one, we continue to be surprised by the freshness of its energy!
