Capricorn 10. Many strange and diverse objects are seen floating down a river. (Omega Symbol) Interacting/Inspired
(Degree Angel: MEHIEL (MAY-hee-EL) Casting Yourself in a Favorable Light, Vivification, invigoration, enlivenment)
TITLE: LETTING GO OF THE NEED TO ANALYZE AND UNDERSTAND AND INSTEAD INSTINCTIVELY UNITING WITH ONE’S SOURCE OF POWER
This degree has a lack of attachment to life and the world. It has the ability to move freely through life and to visit many places (both physically actual as well as inner emotional states) that others would not allow themselves to experience due to fear of so much change. What may seem to be chaotic behavior on the part of this degree is often seen as quite meaningful on a closer look, and part of a regimen of highly individualized learning.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A man astride a horse is drinking in its energy and power.” This degree is always aware that we are continually taking from nature, feeding on it and using it to fulfill our own purposes. If this is carried out in a respectful way, and to sustain rather than to merely indulge ourselves we find that nature is always there ready to give.
The strange and diverse objects floating down the river in the Omega Symbol are all those things which captivate us, one after the other, as we experience the world around us flowing through time. The best relationship to have with all this passing stuff is to take what we need from it, use whatever we are inspired to use for whatever we need it for, and let the rest flow on – for others downstream to use, as needed. This degree carries just this kind of pragmatic and yet spiritual attitude – when its living in tune with its dharma.
Pleiadian Symbol: A bird sent by angels to lead sailors out of dangerous waters.
Azoth Symbol: The print of a rabbit’s foot left in the soft mud of a garden.
Seed degree: Cancer 28. Words streaming from a magician’s eyes and filling a blank book at which he is gazing. (Omega Symbol). When we are able to directly access the contents of our subconscious we are then presented with the creative challenge of what to focus on, which is always based on the meanings that we find in anything that holds our attention, and the changes those meanings go through as time passes.
A tremendous cave on the bank of a river. (Chandra Symbol). When we allow ourselves to explore our own depths we always find that doing so increases and intensifies our personal power.
Fulfillment degree: Cancer 24. A man building a structure meant to look like the ruins of a temple. (Omega Symbol). When we’re able to experiences all that is passing by our imagination is stimulated, creating a desire to recapture higher, nobler, more glorious states.
A single crumbling Corinthian column (Chandra Symbol). When we merge with our personal power we are able to stand on our own, and to detach from the superficiality of outer appearances.
ORACLE
Another stretch of the Iridar River, for some unknown reason, is filled with hallucinations, such that if one stands on the bank in this place and waits for a time, eventually one can see all kinds of unexpected objects floating down the river, birds that no one has ever seen elsewhere, the detritus of cities which must have flooded, barques full of musicians and dancers, corpses, butterflies and all else that the imagination can conjure up.
If one wishes to experience this it is suggested that one takes another who does not gaze into the river, so that they may eventually take one away from the place. Otherwise, people have been known to have died on these banks due to the hypnotic visions that hold them there.
