Pisces 21. In a cold, harsh climate, a woman uses magic to create a lush garden. (Omega Symbol) Interacting/Experimental

(Degree Angel: Anauel (a-NA-oo-EL) Appreciation, Perception of Unity)

This degree is about creating one’s own environment for whatever one is trying to accomplish. The forces of nature are eternal and always there when called upon, always willing to assist one if one will simply connect with them and ask for their help. At worst this degree isolates itself in its own dream world. At best it makes the dreamworld a reality and invites others to join in the enjoyment of it.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Pagan fire worshipers dancing at night.” This degree brings light into the darkness and encourages others to join in the process of doing so. It is not about to fall prey to fear, depression, or the confusion of uncertainty. Its attitude is, “light a fire, make up a dance, call in the clan.” Even in tragedies and dark dramas it finds something to celebrate, for it knows that inevitably the light will conquer. It also knows that both the dark and light follow complex cycles, that both life and die and are born again. And so even in grim and hash times it is expectant of sparks which will kindle into new flames, providing new excuses for celebration.

Now we want to know from what distant realms beyond the usual they have come – what are their mythologies – and who their supporting actors?

(Degree Angel: Mehiel (MAY-hee-EL) Casting Yourself in a Favorable Light, Vivification, invigoration, enlivenment)

This degree is about getting slowed down against one’s will, which can result in a great accumulation of frustration – unless the right attitude is focused on. The right attitude is to become non-reactive and to allow one’s creative impulses to flow with and around the obstructions, and to know that whatever appears to be going against one is there to increase one’s focus and ability to be non-attached.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A blacksmith creating an ornate garden gate.” This degree is about making the best of even the most difficult situations. And to do so, of course, one has to go out and find all the most difficult people and situations that can be discovered. At best this degree is a hard worker who is doggedly determined to turn around even the most seemingly unredeemable state of affairs. The dangers here are (1) getting worn out or burnt out – hard working become abuse. (2) Continual failures creating successive layers of frustration until a mountain of it is built up.

The key here is adopting the right attitude. If the attitude is bitter, egotistical, cynical and self-righteous – hard like the blacksmith’s iron – the goal will never be reached. If the attitude is loving, and receptive to guidance by higher forces, the iron can be heated and worked, and will yield to fulfilling the blacksmith’s creative vision.

Pleiadian Symbol: A scientist discovering new equations that more completely explain the nature of the universe.

Azoth Symbol: Sailors about to be lured off course by the sound of seductive singing.

Seed degree: Sagittarius 24. A man in his imagination inventing flowers, the seeds of which magically appear. (Omega Symbol). Intuiting how easy the creative process is capable of being, we forge ahead with it, becoming eventually immune to everything that thwarts us.

(Degree Angel: Damabiah (da-MA-bee-YAH) Fear of God, Fountain of Wisdom)

Everything we think and every product of our imagination has a life of its own. This degree is deeply aware of this fact and acutely senses the aliveness of even those things which materialists think of as inanimate. At best here is a vast and complete rapport with everything, which is the key to unending wealth. We are in the midst of our prosperity – all we need to do is see it and work with it.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Someone lurking in a dark wood. They are waiting for a passerby.” Whatever we refuse to confront in the light of everyday will lie in way for us to grab us when we are most unsuspected and unaware. Because o f fear and apprehension its easy to interpret this symbol as a robber or attacker looking for a victim, but it might also be seen as someone who has a message for us, but who, for one reason or another, has not been able to make contact through the normal channels. At worst this degree may suffer from a continual undertone of apprehension. The antidote to this is to approach life with the attitude that everything that occurs is happening to teach one something. And to know that those parts of ourselves which have not yet been integrated into our consciousness are not enemies, but rather powers waiting to contribute their voice to the chorus which is us.

Pleiadian Symbol: At a séance the room fills with the scent of roses and a consoling female voice.

Azoth Symbol: In the heat of the summer, spiritual lessons quietly offered in the shade.

Seed degree: Capricorn 6. A woman inventing magical perfumes. (Omega Symbol). The scent of the perfumes awakens our sensitivity to formerly unseen realms and their denizens.

An ancient gold scarab lying in the sand. (Chandra Symbol). A precious gift the lurker waits to give to the stranger – or the one known long ago.

Fulfillment degree: Leo 30. A poetess wearing rings with large gemstones in them. She grasps her book of poems. (Omega Symbol). The life of whatever we create eventually gives back to us insights that lift us into the realization of eternal realities.

A woman sprinkling rose water in the four corners of a room. (Chandra Symbol). We come to meet our own karma, and then , whatever the nature of it, we eventually learn to give it the love that will raise us out of attachment to it.

Pisces 24. An empty perfume bottle, the scent completely gone. (Omega Symbol) Interactive/Responsible

(Degree Angel: Manakel (MA-na-KEL) Accountability, Knowledge of Good and Evil)

This degree has an awareness of all the stories that have ever been told, and all the feelings that have ever been felt. It knows that there is ultimately nothing new. Cravings and desires are the materials from which the self creates dramas, and once all the dramas have been exhausted one is free to play the blissful game of consciousness without the burden of attachment.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A spring festival. The participants are in a state of ecstatic frenzy.” When we align with the energy of any particular time or aspect of a cycle, we take on its power. This degree is about being in tune with what is happening and going along with it in a wholehearted, exuberant way. When we give in to the urge to celebrate life we renew ourselves and realign with cosmic order.

It is interesting that the Omega Symbol for this degree alludes strongly to the past, whereas the Chandra Symbol presents a joyous present that looks on the future with hope. Be it past, present or future, this degree is about savoring the moment, be that moment laden with memories, hopes, or simply embracing an immediate joy.

Pleiadian Symbol: Searching for a lost friend a man lands on a remote island.

Azoth Symbol: A man visits his own history in the Akashic Records.

Pisces 25. On top of a high hill, a circle of standing stones. (Omega Symbol) Interacting/Inspired
(Degree Angel: Eyael (AY-ya-EL) Great Expectations, Transformation to the Sublime)

There is a point where human striving has to give in to pure receptivity, and at that point what may have seemed so very difficult to accomplish is found to be effortless. This degree is capable of direct attunement with the light and is able to uplift and refine even the heaviest and darkest of frequencies. It might be called “lightness of being.” It’s ultimate challenge is how to communicate this lightness to others in a way they can take in.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “People and animals frightened during an eclipse.” The shock of the unexpected can wake us up so that we see our reality in a new way. There is nothing to be afraid of here, but the people and animals do not know this, until, after only a few minutes normality returns. And it is to be remembered that even though solar eclipses only happen about twice a year, this degree lives continually in that state of surprise that the eclipse has produced. It is always tapping in to the strangeness of life, and the energies at work beneath the surface and beyond the pale that our perceptions have set up.

Because of this ability to tap in to a greater reality this degree can subtly (and sometimes quite overtly) shock others into new awarenesses. And those awareness have to do with bringing that which was unconscious (The Moon) into alignment with the consciousness (The Sun), so that insight is gained into the hidden aspects of self. All of this happening quite spontaneously and surprizingly.

Pleiadian Symbol: At the river, singing and purification by water.

Azoth Symbol: A beautiful city suffused with an emerald glow.

Seed degree: Capricorn 30. A crystal made in a laboratory is buried in the ground. (Omega Symbol). To bless and heal the earth invites help from the spirits from above.

Blue morning glories growing up a tall trellis. (Chandra Symbol). Climbing ever higher we experience the shock of convergence of who we thought was ourselves with our true self.

Fulfillment degree: Libra 30. A small, pale moon in the afternoon. (Omega Symbol). Focusing and exalting our energies, we come eventually into the realization of the nature of subtlety.

A black rooster. (Chandra Symbol). The convergence of the darkness with the light awakens us to possibilities that transcend the normal and expected.
