Aquarius 1. Deciding to die, a vampire walks into the sunlight. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Experimental
(Degree Angel: YEZALEL (YAY-za-LEL) Heaven on Earth, Fidelity, Loyalty, and Allegiance)
This degree is about the sacrificing of personal desires to a higher purpose. When a way of life has worn itself out, its time for a change. The energy of this degree is about overcoming the fear of change, and letting go of old patterns. It wants to bring whatever is hidden to light, and to find a way to fulfill true spiritual needs.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A two-headed calf.” We all have two selves – the conscious, objective self and the unconscious, or feeling self. Or, on an other level, (as Eckhard Tolle describes it), the true self and the pain body. This degree recognizes the divisions that exist within the self, as well as the need to acknowledge and respect all the various aspects of one’s being. Whatever parts of ourselves we reject we inevitably come into conflict with, and the only way to resolve this conflict is to reach across our inner divisions and accept every aspect of who we are.
This degree carries the message that completely opposite ideas can peacefully co-exist, and actually have the potential to enhance and clarify each other.

This degree is always looking for help in accomplishing whatever project in which it is currently involved, and seeks especially to enlist the support of natural forces. It understands that those forces are at work everywhere, including in each and every one of us. And so it calls out to the pure and natural energies of its fellow humans to work with them in the process of evolutionary change.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A woman strolling in a garden. She is unaware that she is being watched by elves.” The power of nature is all around us and within us, and even though we may not experience it directly we have the potential of tuning into it psychically and deriving immense knowledge and support from it. This degree is aware of the illusive nature of the forces that come together to create our world. It is seeking to contact those forces, but knows instinctively that to do so will take patience, and will require a gentle melding with those energies. By letting go of desires and agendas one can find the whole world ready and waiting to assist one’s spiritual growth.
The Omega symbol shows the more aggressive side of the degree, but alludes to the truth that even when this attempt to capture knowledge is overt, it still requires inspiration and openness to the possibilities of the moment.

It has much insight into the patterns, routines and taken-for-granted programs that people fall into without being aware of their potentially destructive effects, and senses when and how to help others wake up.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A vast ornate Hindu temple depicting hundreds of gods.” Since God is everything, God is both a singularity and a plurality. This degree deeply senses that the universe is a friendly place, a place that is here to help us, and that God is always willing to find, when needed a new manifestation of him/herself to meet whatever needs may arise. Other people who engage in this process often don’t go far enough, but this degree is intent on origins, and will continually look under anything found to seek its cause and source of support. The highest result of this is the complete cleaning out of negative karmas by clearing them at the root.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Many fireflies at dusk.” The dark may be vast and engulfing, but the light is always there to help us let go of doubt and uncertainty and know we have the power to overcome any and all challenges. This degree senses the profound wisdom to be found everywhere, if one can just clear away the debris of meaningless details and ignorance that have buried it. It seeks the purity of divine essence amidst the fogs of negativity, and its persistence finds it, eventually.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Humans worshiping an obese nature goddess.” This degree deeply believes in the abundance of nature, and knows that when we allow ourselves to be receptive to what life is offering us, we can draw to ourselves all that we need. What enhances and supports this process most is sharing this attentiveness to the forces of nature with others. This is what helps us to get back to pure spirituality, and unearths the temple of the Omega Symbol.
