This degree senses the universe continually giving it messages, and realizes that if these are not paid attention to they might easily be lost. Life is fragile and needs to be acutely observed as it passes if one is to gain true and deep understanding. What this degree sees is very different from what others see, and its insights can be very helpful to others, for they provide a perspective that is unique and visionary.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A solitary grave in the midst of a cornfield.” Energies of the past may be hidden, but they are lingering. This degree senses what has been forgotten and what needs to be remembered. These memories may be from long ago, in the remote past – other lifetimes, but if we allow ourselves to go there, we find the journey isn’t long – we drop into them, for they are not far away – we carrying them in our being. And when the castle of the Omega Symbol appears to us and invites us to enter, we go there and find a means of untying another knot, thereby freeing ourselves more, and allowing the castle, which seemed so forbidding, to evaporate.

(Degree Angel: HAZIEL (HA-zee-EL) Angelic Influences, Divine Mercy and Forgiveness)
This degree has the ability to look beyond its own frame of reference into other realities and planes of existence. It has a patient, receptive quality, and senses that answers are all around it, waiting to be had if one can only be receptive and make within oneself an empty space in which to receive the knowledge. It manifests a quiet inspiration that can access universal wisdom in a pure form.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A long mirrored hallway lit with candles.” The mirrors and candles allow us to see where we are going, and this degree has a gift for both pointing out the way, and helping everyone to get their bearings more clearly. It knows that no one stays any place for long – unless they need to, and even though they may feel stuck somewhere, they’re actually subconsciously loitering and don’t know it. And even when we feel lonely in our journey, if we are observant we’ll always find mirrors and candles willing to befriend us.

(Degree Angel: ALADIAH (a-LA-dee-YAH) Looks Can Kill: Protection from the Evil Eye, Divine Grace)
There is a great urge toward perfection here that, rather than being focused, tends to pervade every aspect of one’s life – in other words a desire to better and upgrade everything. The ultimate purpose of this is to bring spiritual light into this realm, and to do so, hopefully, in may different ways. At worst, though, the impulses of this degree may manifest as mere obsessiveness that lacks overall coordination and depth of purpose.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A mirror covered with a fine film of dust.” This degree is aware of all those things which can potentially cloud vision. It knows that the only way to keep seeing things clearly is to keep clearing away all the non-essentials, side issues and self projections. It’s not an easy task and in fact may seem at times un-doable. It is learning in the current lifetime how to look beyond these obstructions, how to sharpen the picture of anything by listening to one’s intuition. And also how to focus on the bigger picture rather than allowing obscuring and distorting details to render vision cloudy. When the diamonds of the Omega Symbol are cut, the light is allowed into them fully, and by the same token the dust on the mirror may be wiped away, which is an unending task, or the inner vision may take over so that the spiritual light may be perceived.

(Degree Angel: LAUVIAH (LO-vee-YAH) Banishying the Remnants of Evil, Victory)
To go out into the world and simply and directly get ones needs met is the genius of this degree. And although the concept of this is simple, the actual playing out of it can be highly complex, for this degree is gifted with a relentless ingenuity and resourcefulness and is able to maintain a coolness, calmness and ease even in the midst of the world’s most difficult challenges.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “An architect carefully surveying old ruins” This degree wants to reconstruct the past, if not in actuality at least in the mind, so that it can be clearly seen for what it is.
I’m referring here not just to the historical past in general, but to every souls own past – to all of one’s past lives. Essentially, it wants to know exactly what happened and why, and it wants to know this because the past is the road by which we come to the present.
In an ideal world, an endless number of details add up musically to a beautiful and harmonious symphony. This degree is trying to embrace wholeness through studying fragments. It is a challenge that can be accomplished, as long as one avoids becoming lost in a sea of minleiscule bits of evidence. When this degree’s creative research works, it magically builds out of the dust realms of imagination and wonder.
At its core this degree seeks something deeply cooling, soothing, simple, and refreshing (see the Omega Symbol), that it can and will eventually find amidst the shards of antiquity. This something sought is the eternal love that has always been there.

A peaceful child on a narrow ledge that overlooks a precipice. (Chandra Symbol). When we come to the limit or edge of anything, it impels us to look at how we got there, and through this assessing of the past we are able to find a way out of any restrictive situations that are impeding our growth.

(Degree Angel: HAHAIAH (ha-HA-ee-YAH) Unconditional Love, Refuge, Shelter)
This degree combines the most sophisticated, elaborate and complicated ways of being and thinking with the simplest, most basic and earthly ones. There is always, though, a leaning toward the latter as taking precedence, with the former serving as supports and tools for them. This degree sees through much, and is never seduced, deluded or confused by the complexities the human mind perpetrates. It has a way of finding everything useful, and of being able to cut through any confusion to the simple, real core of the soul’s purpose.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Blue morning glories growing up a tall trellis.” The roots of the morning glory are anchored in the ground, from whence they draw the sustenance needed to climb toward the sky. The morning glory cannot make this climb alone – it needs the support of the trellis. This degree is adept at finding the support it needs on this journey, and knows that no outer support will be effective unless the inner support of belief in self is found first.
It is here to teach others that outer authorities can be fallible, can even betray us, potentially, but that the inner authority – the higher self – the holy ghost – is not fallible, for all time is happening at once, and our higher self is that part of our being that has already reached enlightenment. We need only attune ourselves to it, as the blue of the morning glory is attuned to the blue of the sky.
Like the crystal buried in the ground in the Omega Symbol, this degree brings light to the earth.
Pleiadian Symbol: The planning of an angelic city.
Azoth Symbol: When consumed, waters from a spring which comes from a deep cave are causing drinkers to maintain eternal youth.
