Sagittarius 26. A candle mysteriously undisturbed by wind. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Experimental
(Degree Angel: Daniel (DA-nee-EL) Enough is Never Enough, Eloquence)
The title “Beyond Mind” is fitting for this degree. Thoughts truly are like wind in that they push against everything and can create much turbulence. When one gains the power to detach from mind, even if just a little bit, there is an increasing steadiness in the being that brings us closer to spiritual clarity. This degree carries a creative vision that is impervious, more or less, to the agitations of thought.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Climbing the steps of the Pyramid of the Sun.” To ascend, to get above the world, but not by flying – in a more substantial way, with something solid under your feet – this is the goal of this degree. The person who carries this degree is strongly aware that life has meaning and purpose, and is attempting to follow the highest and clearest version of it. The process of getting beyond what is shallow, superficial and trivial is arduous, but this meets the challenge with steadiness and persistence.

When we let go of fear we allow ourselves to be vulnerable and are then able to connect with a greater reality. In calm and silence the subtler vibrations of other realms can be heard. This degree is about becoming receptive to cosmic energies, by allowing the self to open up to the healing, soothing influences waiting to renew us.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Siamese twins talking to each other.” We are all connected but all separate as well. This degree wants to explore the separations and differences between people as a means of promoting understanding. It is trying to overcome the human tendency to deny those parts of the self that one is afraid of and/or which one cannot find a way to integrate into one’s conscious being – trying to find out what it is hiding from itself. To do this requires the self-exposure inherent in the Omega Symbol.

(Degree Angel: Imamiah (ee-MA-mee-Yah) Passion, Expiation of Errors)
This degree knows that anything appearing to be closed, finished or limited can be reopened up and extended. Our belief in limits reinforces those limits, and if we let go of that belief, we find an abundance that is endless. Lack of confidence in self can stand in the way of this process, but if we focus on the good we are attempting to do, the confidence magically appears.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A witch’s ritual dagger.” The ritual dagger is a weapon whose purpose is to cut away negative thoughts, or ones that are no longer of use, essentially thoughts which limit one in unnecessary ways. It may also be used to sever oppressive connections and clear the aura. When such ties are cut we are free to experience the open and limitless quality of the universe – that allows, for instance, the man of the Omega Symbol to channel the new music.

(Degree Angel: Nanael (NA-na-El) No Agenda, Spiritual Communication)
The type of security we seek in life is a reflection of our fears and the pain we have suffered. This degree is aware of personality distortions caused by traumas of the past and unresolved karmas. It knows that simple, loving awareness of these can actually clear them over time. Constancy and gentleness are required to insure the continuance and completion of the process. This symbol most clearly portrays the need for responsible transformation at the physical level.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Thousands of sacred objects and magical implements being cleansed, purified, and re-energized.” Here we find the renewing of energy, the realignment of vibrational harmonies and re-kindling of spiritual power in our world. These many tools used to create balance and healing will help to clear the distorted perspectives found in the house of the Omega Symbol.

So deep the roots of karma, and sometimes when it is only cleared on surface levels it can grow back and then we find ourselves once again in an old pattern. This degree has an instinct for going deep into the self or any problem or complex of circumstances to really contact the source of it. This can give a whole new perspective on reality, and eventually loosen the energetic knot that has bound us.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “The completion of a large Persian rug.” It is a joy to come to the end of a long, arduous task, and the truth is, every minute of our lives is just that – the completion of a process that has been going on so long that its beginnings are far beyond memory’s normal capacity. This degree carries the precious truth that every moment is complete in and of itself, and is full of the richness and abundance of a grand and tremendous history. It personifies cosmic perspective carried to the most glorious and nth extent.
