Phase 31. Finish What you Start (Lamed Kaf bet)

Angel: LECABEL (LAY-ca-BEL) Intellectual Talent

Virgo 1. Late at night, someone comes home and slowly ascends the stairs. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Experimental

(Degree Angel: ACHAIAH (a-KA-hee-YAH) DNA of the Soul, Patience)

You need, periodically, to withdraw from the world back into the privacy of your inner self. You seek the highest aspect of your inner being, and when you can find this and commune with it, you are then in a position to do and be your best. This may mean turning your back on the world, at times, because you need to be as free as possible from strife and conflict, and the many and varied opinions of others.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A volcano erupting at night.” This degree seems on the surface to be very different from its corresponding Omega Symbol, but both show a similarity of relationship to the world of human affairs. The volcano obviously cares not for them, and the man of the Omega Symbol is retreating from them, in fact as he climbs the stairs he rises above them.

The volcano clears pressure that has built up deep inside the earth. The man coming home is in the process of releasing the pressures of the day. The volcano’s release is grand and dramatic, the man’s release is quiet and private. No matter how it occurs, release has to happen, and this degree absolutely will not stand for repression. It is ready and willing to give in to deep release, and not just release of its own personal repressed energies, but release (as much as is possible) of the repressed, denied and rejected energies of humanity at large. This is the most primitive, direct purging that Virgo is capable of.

Pleiadian Symbol: A man’s portrait peering with great intensity into a quiet room.

Azoth Symbol: Hidden deep in the forest a grand white house with porches and columns on its facade.

Seed Degree: Aries 6. An actor forgets his lines and makes up new ones. (Omega Symbol). Letting go of the agendas given to us by the world, and allowing ourselves to invent our own way of relating, we find a high place within ourselves where we may retreat to do inner work.

An aquamarine in a woman’s navel. (Chandra Symbol). Finding our spiritual center, we are able to attain the relaxation needed to allow what is inside to flow forth from us.

Fulfillment degree: Libra 13. As he matures, a mans paintings grow simpler and simpler. (Omega Symbol). Our inner life at last comes into an outer expression that is strikingly clear, for it has given up striving to be anything other than what it is.

Men and women in white towels in a steam bath talking and sweating profusely. (Chandra Symbol). Things so intense that they just have to come out eventually find a meaningful rapport with certain other people in the outside world who have experienced similar energies.

The inner space, though, is what you see above you at night. When you look at the stars your eyes do not go to them, for their light has already come to you, and once you see it you realize you need to go nowhere because at night you’re always here, whereas in day you’re always everywhere else, caught up in the flurries and demands of illusions.

And so he came home and realized there was work to do. He wanted to become disengaged from the machines called stories, and enough darkness to see what was in the sky, and to realize he had always been in it.

Problems have a way of inventing us, and he began to see, as he looked at the stars out his window, that he was the laboratory, and the experiment was him.

Virgo 2. A table on which many healing have been performed. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Sensitive

(Degree Angel: CAHETEL (KA-heh-TEL) Defusing Negative Energy, Divine Blessings)

You work at building up energy gradually, often by doing something over and over. This can be nearly magical in nature, in that you can refine your ability to do whatever you are dong, as well as acquire greater subtlety in doing it. You have an instinctive way of being able to make the right kind of space for whatever you’re going to do, and this can insure success.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A man hanging upside down from a tree.” Just as the table of the Omega Symbol is waiting for the next patient, the man of this symbol is waiting for the right time to act. The tree symbolizes knowledge, and the man of the symbol is dedicated to it. His feet, which signify understanding, are raised to heaven while his head – his mental/intellectual part – is nearest to the earth, meaning devoted to the affairs of practical existence.

This degree knows and sees to a great extent how the spiritual light is working in the world, its insights and perceptions may not be heard by others. The truth of this degree is that if enough positive energy is built up, the tide will eventually turn, though to do this sometimes great patience, focus, and waiting are required.

Pleiadian Symbol: In a sacred cave a lingam of ice.

Azoth Symbol: Children tasting many different kinds of fruit which they are picking off trees.

Seed degree: Aries 18. Sitting in the Lotus posture, a monk’s body is incorruptible. (Omega Symbol). The ability to focus faithfully on the inner silence slowly and inevitably creates a vortex of healing energy.

A jellyfish. (Chandra Symbol). To be soft and transparent allows us to patiently wait until we perceive the connection between consciousness and matter.

Fulfillment degree: Scorpio 13. An acupuncturist who activates points simply by holding a needle over them. (Omega Symbol). When we have refined and perfected our preparations for anything we are often surprised by the ease with which they are eventually carried out.

Someone tells a joke and no one laughs. (Chandra Symbol). Focusing more and more on self-understanding, we let go of the need for the approval of other people.

I, the healing table, belong to an illustrious community of locations where humans lay prone. We consist mainly of beds, coffins, and autopsy tables, and of course, my breed, where people come to be healed.

Prone, the body naturally re-establishes its earthly nature as it lays there upon me, sometimes beneath the sky, or most often beneath its surrogate – a ceiling. I am always surprised that I can support such weight and such vastness – whole worlds, mostly forgotten, and immeasurable continents of dreams, with their dense forests of images, and seas where creatures appear spontaneously in the depths as others continually mutate, while, in the atmosphere of these worlds currents of desires and herds of unformed thoughts flow in the air like gigantic rivers, creating weather.

And though I am only a table I am porous enough to receive the residues of all these dreams and memories, and when needed to recall what is stored in me to assist the healer.

Virgo 3. A little girl hugs a giant quartz crystal larger than she. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Receptive

(Degree Angel: HAZIEL (HA-zee-EL) Angelic Influences, Divine Mercy and Forgiveness)

No matter how wise and mature you may be there is an innocent part of you that is able to embrace the utter clarity of simplicity. The soul can become overburdened with memories, desires, and karmas, but you know how to release all this cleanly and clearly. The energy you bring into the world is very healing and necessary.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A woman doing delicate embroidery.” This degree is capable of quiet precision and focus. The woman of the Chandra symbol performs a task which requires control and carefulness. The little girl of the Omega symbol is acting in the opposite way as she spontaneously expresses her feelings. This degree is capable of both ways of acting, but in whatever it does it is always gentle and restorative.

Pleiadian Symbol: Tall guardians from a faraway star.

Azoth Symbol: Boat makers selecting the best trees.

Seed degree: Aries 30. A crown which causes one to levitate. (Omega Symbol). Overcoming the heaviness of the physical world, we are able to innocently and directly embrace the clarity of the universe, and the messages it has to give us.

An anatomist delivers a lecture on the kidneys. (Chandra Symbol). Understanding more and more clearly how everything relates to everything else, we are inspired to express ourselves in a way that is careful and patient, yet which does not repress our energies.

Fulfillment degree: Sagittarius 13. Sitting for her portrait, Mona Lisa feels as if millions of people are watching her. (Omega Symbol). The more we innocently embrace clarity, the more we find ourselves in rapport with the whole universe.

An embalmer at work on a mummy. (Chandra Symbol). Carefully and beautifully expressing ourselves, we are able to uncover and look into much that has been hidden.

Stones engage in much waiting, especially those that live in the ground. The waiting of stones knows no anticipation, but is filled with the enjoyment of eons spent circling a star, and sometimes observing the rise and fall of life above, or maybe occasionally the novas of suns, or collisions of galaxies.

After being dug from the mine and transported into the sunlight the crystal awoke, and even though the sleep had been for millions of years the waking was effortless, for clear stones fill with light instantly, their ground-blindness healed in the blink of an eye.

Then, only a short time later – several years – the little girl appeared and the destined hug occurred. It was the universe’s way of saying “thanks.”

Virgo 4. A woman boiling clothes in a cauldron with shavings of lye soap. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Responsible

(Degree Angel: ALADIAH (a-LA-dee-YAH) Looks Can Kill: Protection from the Evil Eye, Divine Grace)

Our outer appearance is how we manifest in the world at our most superficial level. This can either reflect to an extent what is within, or it can cloud, mar, or hide it. You are intent on finding ways to clearly present yourself so that others may see who you really are. This is not easy – it may require a lot of work. At best, though, when you shine forth, it encourages others to shine forth too.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A small piglet dressed in baby’s clothes.” It is difficult for you to hide who you are. Ultimately, you don’t wish to do so anyway, but you may often feel forced to travel incognito because of people being so addicted to what is average, and so intent on hiding anything that is strange, original or unique about themselves.

You will be at your happiest and most fulfilled if you find the courage to throw off conservative appearances and reveal yourself completely to others. This will help them to see that their basic and primal instincts are at root healthy, and when affirmed may become a vibrant expression of spirituality.

Pleiadian Symbol: Children dancing with a shadow.

Azoth Symbol: A message waiting to be received.

Seed degree: Taurus 12. In a sacred precinct, many prayers tied around rocks and hanging from trees. (Omega Symbol). Focusing our positive intent automatically clears impurities from our identity.

A very old elephant. (Chandra Symbol). Becoming deeply in touch with our innate inner wisdom we come to realize the ridiculous contrast between our natural self as we are and must allow ourselves to be versus any overlays of labels the world puts on us.

Fulfillment degree: Capricorn 13. Singing and dancing in a desert oasis. (Omega Symbol). Clearing impurities from our identity, we find joy that brings happiness and beauty to the wasteland.

A very old wrinkled brown paper sack. (Chandra Symbol). Allowing ourselves to be ourselves clears us, eventually, of unnecessary conflict and creates a softness and pliability in our being.

She has a closet so big she’s never seen all of it, and she’s afraid to wander in it too far away from the door for fear of never finding her way out again.

Yesterday in some dark cranny there she found some old clothes from way back, stuff she could barely remember ever wearing, soiled with all sorts of stories and passions and other stains from the dirty work of living, some lifetime she forgot all about, but the grimy old clothes reminded her. So she pulled them out and now she’s cooking them up in the back yard, poking them with a stick and watching them bubble.

The clothes, her clothes, all of them, are her skins, and she’s tried on lots of them. So when she boils the clothes she gets that same good feeling she does when she scrubs herself, and even though all the living she’s done has worn her thin in places, the worn spots just let that much more light through.

Virgo 5. With a loud explosion, a tiny black hole collides with earth. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Inspired

(Degree Angel: LAUVIAH (LO-vee-YAH) Banishing the Remnants of Evil, Victory)

Sometimes when we look at negativity we think it could take a really long time to clean up. You have the ability, though, to zap it away, to kind of shock it so that it collapses on itself. You are immensely good at getting to the point, sometimes without even a word being spoken. You commit the right action and a situation can suddenly ignite and transmute. It all depends on what you and others are ready for.

The Chandra symbol for this degree is “A skull on a pole at the entrance to a dark wood.” When there are places you avoid going you need to ask yourself what is it that is repelling you from those places. The black hole of the Omega symbol threatens the very integrity of matter itself, just as the identity is threatened by anything which might threaten its structure. But it is the death of identity that allows identity to restructure at a higher, more expanded level, so that we may reflect more of the spiritual light.

Pleiadian Symbol: Waking, a man remembers attending a fairy celebration deep in the woods.

Azoth Symbol: A world erected by the minds of dreamers working together.

Seed degree: Taurus 24. A man cataloging thousands of different types of microbes. (Omega Symbol). Looking into many tiny and seemingly insignificant things, we are bound eventually to find among them something that is highly important and transforming.

A man with no mouth. (Chandra Symbol). When we enter the silence our consciousness is automatically drawn to those places which we may be afraid of but which we need to explore.

Fulfillment degree: Aquarius 13. An artist mixes various flower and gem elixirs into her paints. (Omega Symbol). Learning the power of focusing, we are then able to direct that focus in ways that will enhance all of life.

A lidless granite sarcophagus. It is empty. (Chandra Symbol). Entering those areas of ourselves where karma needs to be released we eventually experience a rebirth.

A network of holes, like stitches in a tapestry, provide needed connections between parallel universes. Just as light may manifest through fire, darkness too has its seeds, a black fire whose sparks travel the universe, and whose flames organize galaxies, each galaxy whirling around a dark fire, suns drawn to it like moths to a flame.

As shadows compact ever more closely, each drawn into and absorbed inevitably by the other’s nothingness, crushing into each other, their abrasions generate a heat of raging darkness, which sometimes in its wanderings will cross the path of a planet, falling into it as an illusion destroying speck.
