Cancer 6

Anyone looking at the Medusa will turn to stone. It is our self-examination, and our inability to accept what we find, that holds us in place—gripped by fear and unable to move forward. But there is nothing to fear. The writhing snakes are the mind’s uncontrolled thoughts—the ego’s desperate, random, and chaotic efforts to maintain its position. We are not our reflection—or at least, we don’t need to be. We each have inside us a perfect inner clarity which, if we allow it to absorb our ego, will manifest as a purifying and harmonizing influence in the world around us—as pure as the blue sky of the Omega Symbol, and the mythical bird of the Pleiadian Symbol.

This degree reveals the way out of paralysis: to see clearly without fear turning us to stone, to meet chaos with the clarity of unflinching focus.
