A birthplace adds the Ascendant, the Midheaven and the houses. The body positions are identical everywhere on Earth; nothing else in the table is.

How to divide the houses

KochThe system John works in, and the default here. Like Placidus it divides time rather than space, so the houses come out uneven, and its middle cusps usually land a few degrees from the Placidus ones.PlacidusThe usual modern way, and the one most charts you have seen were drawn with. It divides the time a degree takes to rise, so the houses come out uneven.EqualEach house is exactly thirty degrees, counted from the rising degree, so the Ascendant is always the start of the first house. The Midheaven is not a cusp here: it falls wherever it falls.Whole SignThe oldest way, and the one much traditional astrology has come back to. Each house is one whole sign, so your rising sign is the whole first house. It moves about a third of the planets into a different house, and there is no Midheaven among its cusps.
