Chandra Symbol for Sagittarius 29 · John Sandbach, The Circular Temple
The ancient Hebrews did this, thinking that they were transferring the sins of a person to the animal, because they believed that God demanded blood for transgressions. And so this degree is concerned with the understanding of superstitions and how people rely on them for self-justification and to support their denial. Sagittarius wants to see life as a whole truth, and this cannot be done if one is looking through a lens of distorted assumptions. This degree has the power to recognize such lens distortions and clear them, and to see how people take on the thoughtform of victimhood and then project it onto others. The process of becoming liberated from all this is amazing and magical.
