Cancer 10

This symbol represents nature releasing something, whereas the Omega Symbol represents the opposite—a collecting together of things. The hailstorm is violent; the making of the shadowboxes is a quiet process, requiring patience. You come to know yourself through witnessing what you collect together and how you arrange it in your life—and also through purging yourself periodically, especially by clearing out the detritus that has collected in your emotional body.

Hail—which is ice—is water that’s solidified; that is, it’s taken on the characteristics of the Earth element. Ice falling from the sky therefore signifies the grounding of emotions—by letting them loose and expressing them, and by standing aside and allowing them to find a way out of the self. Through this you maintain your integrity and uniqueness, which is then expressed through the making of the shadowboxes.
