Virgo – 17

Degree Angel: MELAHEL (MAY-la-HEL) Sharing the Flame, Healing Capacity, Manifesting/Sensitive

TITLE:   PROFOUND ABILITY TO OVERCOME LIMITATION or TRANSCENDING OF MENTAL BOUNDARIES

Omega Symbol: A scientist discovers the secret of time travel.

Your mind is freed from the rigid limits that seem to be imposed by physical processes, and this gives you the feeling that you can go back and change anything.  You see beyond the accepted and ordinary and by doing so gain a perspective on existence that is broader than most peoples’.  People, though, can be strongly attached to limits, because boundARIES make them feel safe, so you need to be careful about when, where and how you share what you know – so that the possibility of it being accepted is maximized.  Your power lies in being able to find alternate pathways to the solution of any problem.

Pleiadian Symbol: Lava, as it flows into the sea, is creating new land.

You intuitively know how to spontaneously solidify creative impulses into tangible manifestations.  You have the power to shift that which is full of energy but inconstant and unpredictable into a form that is more solid and dependable, and so can be more readily used in the physical world.  You are actually able to cause new territories of possibility to manifest.

Chandra Symbol: An old bald woman talking to her dog.

The woman’s baldness signifies a mind freed from rational thought.  She communicates with her dog through pure instinct, and receives back the dog’s messages.  In the past, when a little girl, she had the instinctive nature of the dog, which became later overlaid with intellect and objectivity, which has now faded away, returning her to her former state and allowing her to re-contact her own animal nature directly.  This is, in essence a sort of time travel – returning to the past in the future.

This degree is about reconnecting with the ground of one’s being, and communing with one’s source. Doing so creates a clearer perception of the way one has developed and the course that’s been taken. It is a way of both assessing and grounding one’s overall evolution.

Unfortunately the insights of this degree may be denigrated, scoffed at, or trivialized by others and this can result in a lack of trust in the value of one’s own instincts. A naked simplicity of thought may in the end come to be realized as great profundity.

Azoth Symbol: In the far north, sailors come to an uninhabited island that is strangely warm.

Even in the midst of hostile or unsupportive circumstances you’re able to call up and share with others inviting psychological spaces that are sunny and nurturing.  In this way you can ease some of the hardships that arise during the spiritual journeys of both yourself and others.  You have a gift for discovering the unexpected, and this comes from your great openmindedness.

Seed Degree: Libra – 18

Waking in the night, a man feels an earthquake. (Omega Symbol). A deep intuitive awareness of the subtle shifts going on in the collective reality allows one to perceive the bigger patterns at work in life, and the ways they might be healed and thereby changed for the better.

A woman carefully counting the beans in a jar. (Chandra Symbol). Knowing that facts which may seem unimportant to others could carry meaningful information, we come into a rapport with those beings and energies with which we feel a heart connection.

Fulfillment Degree: Aquarius – 14

During the rain, a bird is heard singing. (Omega Symbol). Understanding more and more deeply the workings of process as it unfolds through our evolution, we sense the joy of growth even in the midst of seeming sorrows.

In a pyramid a dark passageway filled with Scorpions. (Chandra Symbol). Engaging in open-minded rapport with our animal self we’re drawn to those places inside ourselves whose power needs to be integrated into our wholeness.

Omega Oracle

It’s not a machine you need to move through time, but only a realization.  When you came here you promised to obey certain rules, one of them being that we would all move through time at the same pace together – that is, in a polite and orderly fashion. To break such a promise is well nigh impossible for most, for it would inevitably give rise to unendurable horror and guilt, unless, of course, one were to do it after moving through the doors of death first.

Actually, all this strict observation of etiquette in adhering to rules is unnecessary, if you can simply do it in a silent, graceful manner, and preferably rather sharply, like a fine needle moving through tapestry.

Azoth Oracle

After having been lost at sea for many days in the far north where icebergs and gales and treacherous waters continually threaten death, we suddenly entered a zone of warmth that surrounded an island, upon whose shores we landed.

We thought at first it might be Azoth, but I told the others this couldn’t be so, for the land which had saved us from bitter cold had on it only gentle, rolling hills, and no giant smoking peak, as is said to be found on Azoth, whose mount is called Ragnok.

After weighing anchor and rowing to shore we found we had come to a land of carved stone faces who sat everywhere on the shores and stared out over the sea, and I wondered if these were the guardians who kept the cold at bay.

As I lay that night in a tent and listened to the waves breaking on the shore in the moonlight I knew that the place that was to be my last home was near at hand, even though I was not there yet, and the thought brought me great peace.

This first island to which we had come was beautiful and inviting in every way, and even though we were prisoners of the cold which lurked all around us beyond our shores I could feel in my heart that this place was a child of Azoth, for I sensed that Ragnok was not far off, and that we would in time find our way there, for that was the land for which we’d searched these long months.

Feeling as if something were calling me I woke and rose from the tent where I’d been sleeping, and looking out at the sea all around me saw a place where a faraway dark cloud billowed on the horizon – smoke from a volcano, I was sure, and heard the distant rumble of Ragnok erupting in the distance on Azoth as it called to us.
